I agree that seeing the back of this guy would be a great thing but what gets me is the hypocrisy of some cycling fans when it comes to this. Surely Schumacher is in the same boat as riders like Valverde or Contador yet only a few call for the sport to be rid of these riders, I just don't understand it to be honest.

In the end, team colombia happens to have no colombians left in their team...
I think that for them is the same as TSV, as Martijn said, they're happier if their talented riders go to bigger teams, it would mean that they did a great work making those talents develop.

Chevrier to IAM. Another very good upcoming French talent.
Koldo Fernandez (Garmin) & Blaz Jarc (NetApp) retire.

Agreed. The reason is that Schumacher hasn't got the same media profile as these people so he is an easy target for a lot of people who want to claim to hate dopers but don't mind watching others who have done it themselves.

I have been watching cycling for some years but i i cant remember that much of Schumacher in other ways than the media coverage about his doping charges so its easier for me to have a different image of Valverde and Contador who i know for their results as cyclists but of course i never look at Contador the same way as before he tested positive.

At least that means we will have more Americans than Italians in that American Cannondale team. It was not that certain few weeks ago. And I would find that disrupting if not-anglophone nation would be the most numerous nation in that team.
Though, discounting Formolo, Viviani was one of those Italians who I was finding as a potentially the biggest asset for this team.

We've lost Farrar, Von Hoff and Kreder (?) and got no one in return. Navardaukus is now the only person on the team who can remotely sprint. Huge downgrade IMO. Viviani was the rider I was looking forward to the most from the merger.

not at all fussed by sprinting to be honest with farrar as our main man the last few years its not really been something to be excited about anyway. |

Yeah, I know we say we are a GC oriented team, and we are. but ti's good to have at least someone to sprint as well.

Good move for him, he needs to get some chances for himself.
