@Selwink: I can’t wait! It’s as if I designed the lineup myself, all my favourites! Just hope Eddie Vedder’s voice can hang on until the show
@Ripley: Just arrived and checked into my hotel, don’t know where I am and have no idea what I’m doing but loving it so far!
@Gustavovskiy: I don’t want to wind up in prison either

Welcome to Berlin! That was a long trip and jetlag will be tough on you. You're really on the other side of the world! Go out and explore!

Thanks! It’s not too bad actually, a little tired but I basically slept the whole way here. Anywhere you’d recommend getting a quiet beer and watching a World Cup match?

One of my favourite pubs in Berlin is the Irish Pub in the Europa-Center. Quite a big location, lots of English-Speakers and lots of TVs, which definitely show the Worlds.

Not the worst idea. A bit touristy maybe, located in a sort of mall. Nice 1960s architecture, and the water clock is pretty cool. Otherwise, Berlin's not that small, depends on where you are. Just take a walk, there'll be a bar on every corner and if you see a Sky sign hanging outside they'll probably be showing football.

Continuing with travelling questions here: Doing a camping & tramping trip through Canada with a friend in August and September. Any places we shouldn't miss there? Any further hints on what we should do/avoid? First time in Canada & the States by the way...

Thanks for the suggestions! I’m staying around Friedrich-Wilhelm-Stadt, about a 2 minute walk to the Brandenburg gate area.

I'm not much of a betting man, but Froome no ban was a no brainer, the only bet I made all year so far. 100% win rate.

Just noticed it's my 8th birthday on pcmdaily.com today
A nice day to start the MG transfers. You guys have to be kind now! And by the way: thanks to all members (active and inactive), who make (made) this site so worthful for myself.

Happy "birthday" tsmoha, my favourite mate on the site, so much fun with your stories and in the man-game and so!
Btw. good transfers everyone (managers ofc), i will look here and there what happens, sadly not much time to follow closely, or even take part again.

7 years on Daily today!
Thanks for all the fun, discussion, rages, and stupid arguments about Levi Leipheimer. I like to think I've grown up a lot, though I probably haven't. Either way, happy this community has now been a part of like half my conscious life! Hoping to be around for many years to come.
