Don't know if it was mentioned before, but David Veilleux to retire after Quebec and Montreal.
Well this sucks. He's decided to study Mechanical engineering and start a family.
As much as I like him as cyclist and would love to see him ride on I can do nothing but applaud this move by him. Hopefully other people out there follow his lead as it shows that there is more to life than compitition and winning. Good luck to him
Yeah, but it had to be my favourite rider
Why couldn't it be Horner, mid vuelta
The scary thing is that he could be a grandfather at that age while Veilleux is just starting his family.
Fun fact: Veilleux was 8 during Horner's first pro year.

A grandfather at 42? Well that's possible but surely stretching it a little.
I loved Veilleux. And we saw him a lot this season. This is depressing. I should just slit my wrists now.
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy

It was a joke, not a serious question

Anthony Delaplace is the latest rider from Sojasun to find a team for next season, he'll be riding for Bretagne Séché.

Both Yates brothers to OGE roumoured by Guardian. Good article as well to read.
''Well-placed sources maintain that the Yates brothers have signed for Orica-Greenedge, the Australian equivalent of Team Sky. Adam will not be drawn on it: "Hopefully we will turn pro next year but nothing is official, nothing is decided."
https://www.thegua...ates-twins
Now that would be hell of a scoop and a half for Orica Both tremendously talented as seen in Avenir.
Alongside Chaves ( who's likely to join OGE too ), Orica strengthen their team very well talent wise if those moves come through.

Considering how Sky develops their talents so far - they are smart for looking at different options
Although I do believe both Boswell and Dombrowski will come good and prove their talent next year.

Interesting. With Sojasun probably leaving the sport I like the odds of Bretagne getting a wildcard to the Tour next year, or at least to several ASO-run events depending on how strong teams like IAM are.

Much better to have them fetching bottles and learning to navigate through the peloton than the Rabo way of immediately making them leaders and ending up with Gesink and Dekker who have troubles just sitting in the peloton.
Same for some Belgians like Van Goolen and Nuyens actually.

Much better to have balance and give them chances in smaller races. |

They did get leadership in races Sky doesn't care much about like Suisse, USAPCC...
