loving the speed of the updates, keep it up
Thanks I always try to find the perfect mix between "not too slow" and "not too fast"...
Here's next stage (stay tuned for tomorrow's queen-stage!):

Big time gaps on this stage. But with 3 riders in top 10 it`s still okay, although Taaramae was hoped to be better.
The single rider finishes is also due to the narrow roads. |

Agree. Not what I was really waiting, but it still good.
And shouldn't the single rider finishes be a good thing? At least I prefer it x10.000 rather than 30-man sprint finish.

It`s a good thing. But no if every rider in the ~ top30 is riding solo. At least a few 2-5 group should be there, too, but due to the narrow roads this doesn`t happen a lot of times. So the game needs a mix of the narrow road and normal road gameplay.
But back to topic: Are there more hard stages coming? Or was it the last mountain stage. |

@roturn and lluuiiggii: Totally agree. 3 within top-10 is definitely good, but Taaramäe loosing almost 3 minutes... I expected him to be better, for sure.
About the narrow roads: I didn't know, that it makes a huge difference on a climb. Thanks for the info!
And tou your question, roturn: this was the last harder stage, except of the ITT in stage 7! And here's Deutschland Tour's next two stages within one post:
6th stage:
7th stage - ITT:

Two jerseys for our team, that's quite a success. 6th overall for Herrero, 10th for Taaramäe and 13th for Keinath, that's quite okay.. but he had been the top-favourite, especially in the mountain-stage, and lost a lot of ground there. He also had bad luck - or was it just relaxing attention? - in last stage, loosing his 6th overall! But he still managed to gain a jersey, like Herrero. Team Dark Dog is satisfied.. Congrats to Thomas Rohregger for overall victory:

Pity that you couldn`t fight for the overall win.
But still some nice results with the jerseys and two in the top10. |

@roturn: Thanks! It was an interesting race, with ups and downs (especially for Taaramäe) and our overall result was fine enough
So.. here is Dark Dog's next race (last race before start of La Vuelta!); Quiznos Pro Challenge (I've used Johan92's "Rock-Tour" - from this forum - for the stages, because there's no official release of the real stages so far). The first edition of Quiznos Pro Challenge didn't had any superstars, but it became an interesting race! Though it looked like an dominating win for Dark Dog's Dabid Lander after the two mountain-stages, Endura's Iker Camaño managed to fight back for overall win in last three stages, despite being more than 5 minutes behind Lander after stage 4! Lander, who continues to struggle on every kind of flat stages, lost all of this minutes and even the podium after being dropped from the peloton due to heavy wind in 5th stage and loosing a lot of ground in 45km-ITT! Wow.. Team Dark Dog is still very happy about 3 stage-wins and the well deserved KoM-jersey and 4th overall for our young climber Dabid Lander! Congrats to Iker Camaño:

Nice wins. Can you post Lander`s stats again. Quite interested how much he improved in mountains and flat/time trial. |

Just had another look on the report. Must change my post a bit. ;(
For some reasons I haven`t seen the last stage result yesterday, where you lost the lead again, although I have seen the text below it, why I asked for his flat stat.
Quite a pity as you were by far the strongest with him, but 55 is indeed very less, Hope he still has about 4 stars there. |
