Pogacar is really looking like a Young IRL Pogacar here, trying to steal wins and time everywhere. Pretty cool.
Lecuisinier should have attempted to join those guys to get the deficit down to a more sizeable gap mano y mano wise.
Big win for Johannesson here, that was very Well played.

Finally Cras showing up. 3rd is fine. Can't expect him to win from small groups.
GC wise he now sits around expectations again. Likely in need to lose a bit more time before joining another break.
Thanks for the report. |

What a stage that was from AHJ! Great to see him get into the breakaway, was hopeful he then could add time for the white jersey. But then to see him be very active for KoM points and even claim the Aubisque climb, I got really impressed as he was definitely up against strong riders. Thought it meant he would be on limited energy for the final climb, and it looked done when Fouche cracked and he dropped. But what a way to make use of his descending skills
And then to come around both and sprint to victory… What a proud day for both him and the team! It means we grab the stage win, which was our goal prerace, one that felt too ambitious when Kragh couldn’t win the prologue. Just amazing
It definitely also added to the white jersey lead, which look very healthy now, but that will be only until one of the other contenders get into a winning breakaway Admittedly I can’ care too much about that with such a win by AHJ. The Tour is a success for him, a big success. We can’t ask for more from him, eventhough he obviously is in a great position now to do more
A big thank you for the report, UU. That was super tense with all the changes and small gaps in the breakaway on the climbs. |

Pinot in the break when it's French National Holiday (in-game) was what we hoped for
Congrats to ember (and all the previous stage winners I left out) for a great day from AHJ!

Classy stage win from AHJ. Congrats, ember. Big day!
Wrong guys in the break from our point of view, so that felt kind of useless, unfortunately.

Champoussin should have been in that breakaway. Congrats, ember!

Congrats ember, what a great win for your team!
My team looks as bad as expected and will have a hard time keeping the gaps in contention in future stages. Evonik with 3 domestiques, Kudus with no helpers remaining... hopefully the yellow jersey power will give Kudus some extra help.

Team is looking solid enough to somewhat control the morning break if we need to do so...

This GC race is a proper mess
Shikai looking good for 6th on the stage and to have gained time on some of those around him but loses 2 places to the two breakaway riders. I expect he'll gain that back though.

Congratulations, DD! As the standings were, Warchol seemed like an obvious guy for the breakaway, and he duly delivered, eventhough Cras gave him more of a fight than I expected considering his efforts yesterday. Well done to both!
Happy with AHJ. He defended well after yesterday, and sitting pretty in polka is coil. Seeing the stages that wait, it should be possible to keep it until stage 18, and then stage 18-20 should decide the jersey. Assuming stronger climbers will join the fun then, it looks very difficult to win the jersey, but we shall definitely hope, at least for now

This stage was always going to be for the breakaway with it’s shortness, just happy the time differences wasn’t devastating like seen before. Seems like the stage was well designed to avoid that though…
It’s really discouraging to see Lecuisinier in this shape though. Had hoped He would start clawing back, but Kudus have recuperated well and just seems stronger.
Another well written stage that is very interesting to read, even from a semi-neutral point of view.
Big congrats to DD. This was a good pick of points in the PT title fight!

Thanks! I was disappointed Warchol didn't try to go in the stage 12 break and later even got caught behind a split. But this win makes up for it all.
And he didn't gain a huge amount of time because Moser controlled the situation well. So now I'm hoping he's allowed in another break.

It's becoming something of a nothing race for us with all these breakaway wins and attackers leapfrogging Carthy on GC to put him out of the top 10. Being so far down now, maybe the team will get a little more aggressive in the final week. We've been really anonymous lately even though Carthy has looked solid.

What a way to get a stage win by Peak! That was somehow dominant, and he did it mostly by himself
That was a very cool stage to read with everything that happened, and the finale was great, as it felt like everyone fancied their chance. Thank you for a superb report, UU! Brilliant timing by Peak to get the jump on the GC guys, and then holding them off to the line. It is another big moment for us as a team, winning again in the Tour with another of our sub-leaders. Thrilled!
Also very clever riding by Mas to get into the breakaway and get the KoM jersey from AHJ. Must admit it wasn’t on my mind that it was possible to lose the jersey on that stage, but it clearly was. Though, we are all on the Peak train today |

Looked like a good day for a breakaway, but Sulvaran had no luck. Thanks for the reports!

Some questionable tactics that did not pay off at all. Getting 0 points in a stage where Grosu should have reduced the gap to the first place in the green jersey classification is quite something.
Congrats, ember!
