It seems 95% sure that I have the Coronavirus, but as it almost impossible to get a test unless you are very sick, I don’t know for sure. Anyway, that is why my reports is not coming on a daily basis. Some days I have high fever and find it very difficult to focus on any just slightly complex task. I only need to create a few reports, but also those are taking a lot of extra time in my current condition, so all in all, the Vuelta a Espana will continue, you just have to have a bit more patience with me in this situation.
All the best and take your time to recover of course!
Much more important than any MG stuff or daily reports etc. |

Not the best from Brambilla. But with what he has achieved so far, I can't complain at all.
Sad to hear about your condition, Tamijo! Hope you will feel better soon. In these conditions reporting here should be the last of your concerns. Even postponing the race for a while would be fine for me. But as you said you want to continue, you might want to not keep the pressure on yourself with such detailed and complex reports like you did so far. Spending hours in front of a computer with fever is not easy. We all appreciate the amazing amount of work you have put in so far, but in these conditions, reports where you focus just on the important stuff that went down in the stage are just as fine.

Low stress and a lot of proper rest is very important for recovery, so please don't feel any pressure from us. If the race has to be paused until you feel better, everyone will understand. Get well soon mate.

Not as big an issue, isolated as many others also need something to do, just slowing down a bit.

All the best to you!
Now this is the time where id expect that Lopez will have to join breakaways and also hunt the KoM jersey and stages.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Take all the time you need in this situation, real life always has priority over stuff like this. Get well soon. 0 pressure!

Thank you for the fantastic report Tamijo!
Epic performance by Krizek! Fantastic Vuelta for him so far with also the other top-5 stage finish. Now fighting for the KoM jersey and even has a good spot in the points jersey ranking, so he should hopefully be active the final couple weeks thanks to this.
On another note, what the fuck is up with PCM? Literally makes no sense what happened to Latour. I get that he'd be tired after attacking throughout the stage, but what's the point of having him basically stop after being reeled in by the peloton PLUS having the whole team do nothing to help him hang on? 6 riders to help him and everyone finishing 20 minutes back. Dumb ass AI, can't believe such a perfect stage had to end in such a sour note with basically all of my riders saying goodbye to top 50 GC. Hopefully means they'll attack more often.

Hugenhaben or Eiking really should have gone into the break on this stage. Maybe even Van der Poel, who though would have been dropped again I guess.
They are here for those stages mainly.
Giving away the teams almost to Gazelle is unnecessary this way. |

Great performance from Lastra. It's been great to see the team being so active in the breaks so far.

Terrible performance by my guys. Joining the break on such an obvious break stage was so crucial for a team like mine and without a strong GC position there was absolutely no reason to not even try joining.
I guess that means that the rest of week 2 will be terrible for me too. If PCM doesnt see the need for Lopez (or someone else) to attack on a stage like this, then i can probably stop dreaming of the KoM. At this point i have to hope that one of my sprinters uses the two flat stages in week 3 to somewhat save the race for me
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Thanks for another report. Still wish you a good recovery!
Good to see Miller in a breakaway again. Didn't go perfectly, but still a good effort to finish 4th. As a very late addition to my roster, he's already been doing fine enough.

Look after yourself and take as long as you need Having had a lot of the symptoms earlier in the month (though not able to say with certainty that it was the coronavirus) I can half-imagine how you must be feeling, and hope you'll be on the mend soon!
Last couple of stages have been both good and bad for us. Cattaneo pulled a nice time trial out of the bag, and with only a few hilly stages left I hope he can sneak into the top 10. On the other hand, I'm confused as to why we've not bothered going into the breaks on the obvious breakaway stages - particularly with Carthy and Turgis way down the order, so likely to be allowed to go. |

Thank you for the report, Tamijo!
Expect one more of those breakaway friendly stages before we head back to the mountains, where it's still all to play for.
Four riders within 75 seconds means Taaramae needs to be alert to all of them as we can't afford to give any of them much time. Hopefully we'll deal with that pressure in the best way possible, chasing stage wins and having Taaramae finish at least at s.t. as Pluchkin, Kritskiy and Tenorio.
It has been a very good Vuelta so far from Taaramae, getting four stage wins and sitting pretty in red. Though, this race was always going to be decided in the final week with three difficult MTF, and we need to be at our best to bring this home.
Congratulations on the stage win, matt17br! Big win after a very impressive solo ride. |

Please get better soon! It's a shitty time to be ill, coronavirus or otherwise. My stepmum had symptoms and she got a test and thankfully it was negative. But that still leaves an undiagnosed infection, which isn't exactly great, either.

Nice effort by Geoghegan Hart. He's only level 3 so taking that many KoM points and a decent stage result in a GT is not bad.
