Paraguay NC was fun with both Orue and Coronel being loaned out Azteca riders. Grats to Orue for getting the double! The cobbles are fun for them since both are good on pavé.

Haha the Ugandan time trial title, not the most prestigious test of chrono skill (Ssabagwanya 55 vs Schleck 53) but I'll take it - hilarious to see Jordan with a TT being his first career win One day Schleck will be able to beat his countryman in the mountains
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Really hoped De Bie could take it. But Bakelants simply the stronger rider and deserved winner. |

Haga inexplicably bad there, expected more of him especially in the TT given Phinney's absence. Barton not bad though, just Bookwalter a bit stronger on his last legs.

Fantastic performance from young Dlamini to secure the South African RR with a beautifuly timed attack to outwit the sprinters present. He has had a busy race season working hard for his team-mates throughout. He grabbed this opportunity for personal glory with both hands.
His countryman Thomson was very emotional to have supported his young team-mate to securing the jersey, and then rounded out his own NC's with a solid bronze medal performance in the TT in what has been speculated by certain commentators as being potentially his last races for WCC as age inevitably starts to catch up with him.

Great victory to take one of the most colourful NCs with Uran in both RR and TT. Congrats Marco!

Henao just came across an inspired Uran in the RR. No shame in coming 2nd to such a performance. Congrats Marco for the double. Well deserved.

Can't say I was expecting my only NC this year to be Arturs Belevics, but I certainly can't complain.

Not disappointed to have to cede the Colombian RR NC to Uran given this is his final season before the inevitable age decline starts to kick in if I recall properly - has been quite a MG legend, congrats Marco!
Delighted (and somewhat relieved) that Contreras will return from his finishing-school loan spell at Desigual with the Argentinian RR jersey - this has gone down especially well with our new secondary named sponsor Hexacta given Argentina is their home base. A happy outcome.

With Luxembourg done, I believe NCs are over for us for this year. We didn't have any national champions in our ranks last season, and it unfortunately seems like we'll have to look around in the transfer market to find one for the coming one!
Thanks for all the reports
