I expected absolutely nothing from this race, so 3rd place as a stage result is a really nice surpise. Nice result for Gogl.

Throw some cobbles into this race at some point then we can see how things go.
I think splitting Avenir race days for a shorter stage race plus a cobble, a hill and a sprint classic should work nicely for the next season. We could just use the same startlist as we create for Avenir. There already was U23 version of Paris-Roubaix in MG. No real extra effort needed, still 20 RDs given for participating riders, more real things to win without additional reports needed.
I think we could try to create a mini U23 calendar like this:
U23 Ronde van Vlaanderen (cobble)
U23 La Cote Picarde (flat)
U23 Liege-Bastogne-Liege (hill)
Tour de l'Avenir 7 days (mountain + time-trial)
Very proud of the Tinkovboys (Mamykin, Rybalkin and Nych), they all finished strong and thanks jph27 for reporting this race, it was a lot of fun following it!

What do you guys think?
It does sound like an idea worth considering, if we have a sufficient amount of reporters next season.
Too bad we couldn't implement it this year, Herklotz would've had a chance to win all 4 of those races
I would love to see such races, although I think a 7 stage Tour de l'Avenir would be sad to see. Despite it being a stagerace for GC riders, I think sprinters and puncheurs have a say in the race also. But maybe the race could be something like this:
Which is 8 stages, for a wide amount of riders. It would make it possible for a strong puncheur to get a good GC result - like this season from Mohoric. But it would still be likely to see the biggest GC favorites take the win, while it would still give sprinters an opportunity for both stagewins and leaders jersey.
And then besides that have 1 Cobble, 1 Flat and 1 Hilly one day race. It would give one more stage to repport though.
Fantastic win for Kudus. Great to see his development culminate in victory here after years of gaining XP across all three divisions with us! He's been a long-term project, with us having to use large chunks of our salary cap for a few years on him, so its nice to be rewarded like this. Thank you for the reports.
