Nah, I am preety sure he dreams of:
Anyhow, this Giro. Great read so far, Trofimov proving to be the best Man-Game rider ever? Madrazo surprisingly weak, maybe carries a small injury, not sure. Pendelton having a stormer, what a GT debut by Dombrowski, what else to say. Top 10 isn't out of hand.
Cunego and Pluchkin fight will be intense, but with Rosa and nationality bonus, can't see Cunego loosing now, unless Trofimov takes the maglia before the mountains again.
Feel sorry for Metinvest, in one way happy with amazing start, but after that is was just one case of being unlucky after other... Also Rothaus, Gomez Marchante
Anyhow, second part should be as good. Looking forward to it.

I really can't see any way Dombrowski should be able to remain in the top 10. He is already down to 8th, and several riders right behind him, is significantly better in the mountains, such as Nibali, Alarcon, Fothen and van den Broeck. Those are all within something close to a minute - And they are the teams leader. Dombrowski is the main helper for Dan Martin in 6th place. Also, Dombrowski is the worst of all in the top 25 in the hills, and only three riders are worse in the TT's. Most riders are significantly better on all terrains. He does have a nice buffer, though, so 15th or so might be possible, but I doubt that he will be higher than that at the end of the Giro.

Yeah, I would expect Dombrowski to slip down a fair bit, but a top 20 would certainly be a strong showing for him here.
That Trofimov column on the results is truly absurd.
Really need Denifl to make the mountains count to overhaul some of the riders in front of him and scratch out a decent overall finish here.

Nah, he did something similar, so no need to dream about it.
Great TT report SN! Old man Popovych stood up for Ignatiev this time, nice ride from him really and he can start moving forward agan, after that unlucky crash. (but better to see my leader crashing than some top5 favourite from real PT team competing for points).
Zmorka again in top50 too, proving that he is the man for the future.
Congrats to Trofimov, Tinkoff has the real beast in him.

I do no longer expect any more than the minimum points from this race...though wouldn`t be surprised if Krieger, Guardini, Villella, Sbaragli & co will also abandon before the finale to not give me participation points.
What is wrong with the game ignoring my riders in all races. I probably have not had even 10 breakaway appearances all season. With Thurau and Ballan I should have excellent riders for a break. Villella probably the only riders choosen to join them but he is injured so yeah...
And Gomez Marchante could at least try something. Why not join Samwel in those attacks. I mean 5min easily gained time!

Hell yeah! That was exactly the reason for taking so many hilly domestiques! A great win, and perfect to get some good points here. Also the goal of a stagewin is now achieved.

Dear peloton,
thank you for absolutely nothing.

Nice win for Festina and SotD.
But according to the race profile it should have been a flat stage, not a hilly one as the race report shows? I thought of that stage as one of two chances left for Impey as the sprint teams would work for a sprint (clearly not if it was rated a hilly one).
But oh well, hopefully there's no surprise thinking of the route on stage 12, which I see as our last chance to double up thinking of stage wins |

Congrats, SotD. Not that you really needed this, though... But oh well, nice showing by Vichot. As said previously, I'd really like my riders to attack whenever possible. Vichot did and was almost rewarded with a stage win. |

So far he has been one of my best riders of this season, so I'm very happy to have had him on loan
Two stagewins this far, and a top 15GC in one small stagerace, aswell as a decent young riders position in two stageraces. He has been worth every penny so far. I really think he will be a top rider for you in the PCT, if you are there next season. Blaz Furdi, from Gazelle, can't seem to take the full step up though, it seems.

Nice effort of Wallays, pity he had no power to fight until finish. Still little disappointed with ranking of this stage --> one less chance for Degenkolb to win
