GROUP A
STAGE 2
This stage is a hilly one. The favourites are Moreno (), Valverde (), RodrÃguez (), Vanendert () and Mollema (). The stage started with a breakaway of Gonçalves (), Raabe (), Weiss () and Craddock (). Then, Netherlands team started chasing them. They don´t want to see a breaway winning as the Stage 1 in Group B. Then, some cyclists fell like Van Garderen () or Vanmarcke (). Maybe USA team loses all their chances to win some points...
With 50 kms to go, in the peloton there are 50 cyclists more-or-less, and the breakaway has got a gap of less than 2 minutes...
40 kms to go and the breakaway has got a gap of 1´20"... In the peloton we see almost all Spain and Netherlands cyclists at the head of the group... They want the win, of course...
Attacks in the break! They can´t open a gap but they try! Van Garderen and Vanmarcke won´t enter the peloton so... bad luck
Gonçalves () goes to the head of the race! And only 20 cyclists in the peloton! We see Van den Broeck () behind the peloton...
Only Gonçalves () resists! When Gonçalves () is chased, RodrÃguez () attacks! He opens a gap! Go Joaquim!
More cyclists are behind the pack! Wellens () is the most important cyclist of the group of cyclists behind the pack!
Half minute for RodrÃguez () with 15 kms to go! Netherlands team is fired!
Vanendert () attacks! He´s chased and Talansky () goes behind the peloton! (I need to know the correct word to say that..)
The hardest climbs start with 11 kms to go and RodrÃguez () si in the front with 25" of gap with a 14 rider group.
Van Avermaet (), Mollema () and Contador ().
With those attacks, the riders in the peloton stop! The win is in the front! Who? RodrÃguez (), Contador (), Van Avermaet () or Mollema ()?
Situation (7 kms to go):
1.- RodrÃguez ()
2.- Mollema () +33"
3.- Van Avermaet () and Contador () +56"
4- 7 riders +1´58"
Gaps between the 4 riders on the head is bigger... RodrÃguez is going to win...
Talansky () attacks from the peloton. 5th in the race atm... when Van Avermaet () attacks! Contador () try to follow him!
RodrÃguez () wins!

I´m really really worried of the cobble stage...
Spain won´t be the first at the finish of the group stage, but Spain will be in the second round, of course, but maybe the third position...
SSJ2Luigi, you don´t need to worry, Terpstra will give you a lot of points 8and Boom...) and you´ll fight with Belgium. Netherlands will finish the first, I think!
If you are thinking what is my team, I select a team with 1 cyclist, who abandon at the beginning of the stage, don´t mind about that, I don´t control any teams!
This afternoon I´ll try to simulate the 2nd stage of the Group B, but I can´t secure...

GROUP B - STAGE 2
#PCMWorldCup
Here we go with the LIVE! broadcast of the Stage 2 of the Group B!
Hilly stage, and the main favourites are Daniel Martin (), Vincenzo Nibali (), Simon Gerrans (), Enrico Gasparotto () and Michael Albasini ().
All teams don´t want to see a breakaway winning like in Stage 1...
We see the startlist and... Froome is not riding... What was the Great Britain manager thinking about? Let´s see what happen but...
First attacks! Leigh Howard (), Roger Aiken () and Alex Dowsett () attacks. Seems like Australia and Great Britain, with 0 points at the moment, want to be in the breakaway... let´s see which is the teams which try to catch the break. Maybe Italy...
Dion Smith () goes into the break also! Italy and Switzerland are teams without any riders in the breakaway... so they are the teams which needs to work...
Said and done! Brambilla () starts pushing... Caught!
Jack Bauer (), Mark Cavendish () and Leigh Howard () are the riders who are attacking now!
Break done! The gap is being opened! Switzerland, Ireland and Italy are teams at the front of the pack.
79 kms to go and the break has got a gap of 5 minutes... they seem to be caught...
Then, 54 kms and 3 minutes... 45 kms, 1´30" for the break and Michael Albasini () attacks! First important movement in the stage! Let´s see the reaction of Italy and Ireland...
We have the reaction! Nibali () and Martin () attacks! So, teams won´t push in the pack... Mmm...
Gerrans (), Roche () and Pozzovivo () attacks also! Interesting stage, without doubt! Brambilla () try to follow the leaders!
Albasini () catch the break and overtake them! Martin () and Nibali () do the same, and try to catch Albasini ()... While in the pack nobody is moving...
Gerrans (), Roche () and Pozzovivo () overtake the break and try to catch the lead!
Situation with 36 kms to go:
1.- Albasini (), Nibali ()
2.- Martin () +20"
3.- Gerrans (), Roche (), Pozzovivo (), Bauer () +1´40"
4.- Cavendish (), Howard (), Brambilla () +2´02"
5.- Peloton +6´53"
Martin () catches Albasini () and Nibali ()!
Problems for Gerrans ()! Pozzovivo () and Roche () aren´t working for catching the head...
Cavendish () had the same problem and decided to attack and opened a good gap (more than 2 minutes).
Gerrans () attacks! But Pozzovivo () and Roche () are able to follow him!
N-I-B-A-L-I! He attacks! Albasini () follows him easily... but Martin ()... with some dificulties catch them!
Situation (with 14 kms to go):
1.- Nibali (), Albasini (), Martin ()
2.- Gerrans (), Roche (), Pozzovivo () +1´55"
3.- Bauer () +3´36"
4.- Cavendish () +5´
5.- Peloton +10´
Now the riders in the head stop! And the chasing group is 1´16"...
Nibali () once again! Is he wasting his energy?
Albasini () now while it´s 7 kms to go and the final climb is starting...
Martin () is behind them... it seemed.
And now he´s back...
Nibali () seems very strong... SPRINT!
WINNER! Nibali () shows his amazing strength this time!

Belgium still third
and great work by Albsini for Switzerland.
The cobbled stage will be great though. and now that the hilly stage is done, I only have to worry about the Mountain stage really.

Spoiler @SSJ2Luigi Yes, but maybe Martin could have done something else... And Cavendish... thanks for being in the break...
@Dippofix (See above)
@trekbmc Belgium is close of the second round and Switzerland a lot more
@PeterRyder Yes, good job from Gonçalves being in the break but Portugal it´s doing a really bad job there... I think I won´t see Portugal in the second round...
@All Thanks for answering in this! You give more reasns to continue this!
PCM WORLD CUP - Weekly News #1
Here I start with Weekly News (thanks to PCM.daily). Every Tuesday from today and while the game is being played I´ll do Weekly News with the things happened in the game! We start!
Group A: Terpstra!
In Group A we can see a dominant country. It´s Netherlands.
The local hero Niki Terpstra won the first stage of this #PCMWorldCup and we was very happy. "I saw a chance for winning and I attacked. I´m very prud for being the first stage winner of this amazing #PCMWorldCup!"
Group A: Where´s Portugal?
Netherlands is the first in the group... and Portugal is the last...
The manager (PeterRyder) picked the best riders in that country... but that doesn´t work!
With 2 stages played, Portugal is still with 0 points and with a cobble stage and a time trial in the horizon, we could see Portugal out in this round...
Or they do it well... or nothing!
Group B: Only 4 riders?
First stage of the Group B. The peloton starts very nervous in Versailles.
3 riders attack for being in the break... and the peloton won´t see them in the rest of the day.
The 3 riders fought for the win... and was Oliver Zaugg from Switzerland the rider who did it!
The 3 riders in the break (Zaugg, Williamson and Downey) and Elmiger, who attacked with 20 kms to go were the only ones who finished the stage... so Switzerland was the leader of the group with such a big difference...
Group B: N-I-B-A-L-I
The 2nd stage was funnier than the first, of course!
After a break, the peloton pushed (not as in first stage...) and some riders attacked (the best ones). They caught the break and went for the win.
Finally, after an exciting stage, the winner was Vincenzo Nibali. He was a deserved winner of course, but Albasini, who was second, could have been a deserved winner if he could have won for holding on a lot of attacks from Nibali.
Ireland did a great performance as well, being 3rd and 4th with Martin and Roche.
A curiosity... Mark Cavendish (yes, the sprinter) was 8th!
Group B: Surprises?
If you watch the classification of Group B, which is:
Switzerland: 56 points
Ireland: 42 points
Italy: 35 points
New Zealand: 24 points
Australia: 8 points
Great Britain: 6 points
We see Switzerland at the front... which is deserved after a great performance in Stage 1 and some great effort from Albasini in Stage 2.
Ireland second... which is also deserved, because of a big performance in Stage 2 and the presence of Downey in the break in Stage 1
Italy... GREAT! They didn´t get any points in Stage 1 but Nibali is saving them!
And we see the 4th, 5th and 6th places and here comes the surprise!
New Zealand 4th? Maybe (with Costa Rica) one of the poorest teams in the competitions and they´re there! Magic breakaways!
And Australia and Great Britain? Well, they are the last teams in the group. They didn´t managed well the breakaways and now they´re very very bad...
Maybe Great Britain has got 3 good stages for them... but if he don´t lineup their best cyclists like in Stage 2 (Froome didn´t race...), they won´t do anythng!
And Australia... they can do something well in the time trial but... it´s dark for them...
Bye!

@trekbmc Thanks!
I would like to ask for more activity here, because I´m spending my free time doing this and the most of the managers didn´t comment here yet...

You could have been Germany, but now it´s too late
The winner only wins a moral trophy; he could put "PCM WORLD CUP - Winner!" in his signature!
Maybe I could do a 2nd edition, and then you could sign up!

that's usual in these types of games, the longer the gap from sign-up and game the worse it gets
