A promising start, Kis.
A small tip from me for Paint.NET:
-- Use the magic wand (which can be found in the 'tools' window)
If you used the magic wand you could, i.e., highlight the insides of the 'a,a & o' on the marathon logo and delete them so it looks crisper. Similarly also check out the pencil and rectangle select options. |

New attempt to make a jersey. Some of the logos are still pixelated, but it could have been worse. Jersey is not finished yet, I'm looking for some advice to get rid of the ( also pixelated) stitches. Can someone help me?

How did you fill the color on the stitches? Any chance you've some tool like the 'bucket tool'? As for the logos, one thing that might help is to look for logos that are already cut out. For example, here's a Telefonica logo ready to use

Tbh, I don't remember how I coloured the stitches. It seems like I can't recolour them. Whenever I try, the area next to the stitches is coloured, but the stitches themselves remain white.
Will keep in mind your advice for the logos . Guess I'll have to restart all over again, I seem to have forgotten to save my .pdn file |

Well, about the stitches, one way I would do to color them without losing quality is do as it follows: with the magic wand or a similar tool in Paint.net, select the area to be colored under stitches. Then in a new layer, fill that area with the color you want, but make sure that either the selection is slightly bigger than the original one (so that it ends under the area of the stitches) - in Photoshop there's a setting to "refine edge" of selections to make them bigger, maybe there's something similar in Paint.net; if not, you could try to just manually move the selection one pixel in each direction and fill it - do this for all parts of the stitches and afterwards paste the stitches on a new layer above all these color layers. Then there should be no pixelization

@lluuiiggii I remember how I 'coloured' the stitches. I pasted them in a separate layer ( as I should), coloured the areas between the stitches ( the jersey, let's say) and accidentally deleted this layer. That's how not the stitches but uncoloured areas remained blank |

Thanks sutty. Making the south american logo a bit smaller might be needed to make it look better though. |

Looking good, great thinking, especially, to choose that colour combination of orange and black. Fantastic.
The thing is I wouldn't know which would be the main sponsor on the shirt! (Not that I am suggesting you change anything) I am pretty sure it is Aerolinas Argentinas but that Chevrolet logo is very prominent (maybe it could be a jersey for duel sponsors?).
I am not sure how the sides on the arms will look in game, I will check that out.
I think there are some guides on doing NCs out there, you might want to check out the following link for some NC templates by Thomazio. For me, I wouldn't recommend always doing NCs like that as it gets a bit samey but it can't hurt to check them out: https://www.media...qaip43z93h
and finally (after this mammoth message!) Will be interested to know if you have any plans for re-opening this thread for requests, as I would like to request some backgrounds for GTs. |
