Guys i only really started downloading like for 1 yr from this site so im a newbie really, is their anychance they ever release the patch on wkend? Also why does the Daily have to be released after patch, isit not possible to download daily and then download patch? |

Patches often overwrite files that were changed by a db.
If a db is released before a patch, the db will often require an update after the patch. Also, people will have to restart their careers afterwards. |

According to Cyanide, patch will be released on Monday.
Don't know how much work still has to be done to Daily's expansion pack, but I think it's safe to say you'll be playing a career by the end of the month. |

Better they fix as many bugs as possible, then release the patch too early and not finished as it should be.

there's "a little delay" with the patch, read on the cyanide forum... seriously, i'm really done with them! can't stand the 'pretending to care by telling a guy named Izno to calm the customers with wrong promises'...

Unfortunately it's Cyanide, who will probably accidentally make a few more issues post patch as well as not properly fix most things

Game is pretty playable with 1.0.2.0. Pity that PCMDaily is waiting for 1.0.4.0 to release the patch but there's a very understandable reason. |

Its not going to be for a few days by the looks of it guys on cyanide forum i just looked it hints that it wont be ready anytime soon. As Mayo said its playable but it be nice to have daily DB. I really would love it if you guys could release the DB surely we can still use it with patch 2 and 3 then for people who want towait for 4th patch they can? |

It's not like we're sitting around doing nothing waiting for the patch. Work on the DB is still being done every day (but obviously if the patch was released a month ago we'd have adjusted the work put on it).

No, because after the 4th patch, you'll need new compatible .cdbs + some files added by the patch might overwrite the ones of the DB, in which case you'd need to re-install these files.
This means that if we would do a release now, we'd have have to do another one in 3 days from now for the files compatible with 4th patch. And there's no way that this is going to happen (when you're talking about 20.000+ downloaders, it's best to keep things as simple as possible)
