Just read something that hasn't been mentioned yet I think. Different cobbled are not all as hard. So Arenberg will be much tougher as Crupelandt for example

That sounds good, if implemented right.

Yeah, I could imagine something that after Arenberg only Cancellara and Boonen remain in front with the rest of the field dropped and out of energy

Moreover, rider animations are more realistic and reflect the effort expended on any given portion of route. In the Classics, cobbled sections have their own level of difficulty which impacts on the number of falls, AI and the elimination of riders, thus demanding a specific race strategy and increasing the realism of these races.
More falls and a different strategy. Looking forward to it |

When I read about the split screen co-op multiplayer for the TdF2013 game the first thing that came to my mind was: "Oh look they've invented a game mode for the Schleck Brothers."

To make Tour de France even more personalised, you can create your very own “Grande Boucle” by selecting your favourite stages. In this way, the stages of Tour de France are much more dynamic, and can be played in their entirety. However, you can also just play the sections of the stages that you prefer and simulate the rest – it is your choice!
stages played entirety and optional for sections???
I.e. Maximum of only 7 stages to be played or something like that

The races themselves are as realistic as ever, thanks to our optimised IA, which sorts the men from the boys in the mountain stages and hilly stages.
I hope that this is true

I can confirm that stages will be fully playable. More about this in the interview which will be posted later today. |

You can play the entire Tour if you want? That's the best news I've heard all week |

On a 1/5 scale, bummer. I was even thinking about buying a console and trying that, but few minutes per climb are hardly a thing to gain me for the game.

Saw that, too, later. This totally ruins the game for me and I won't buy it. Climbs were amazing because they lasted over 30 minutes, you could have incredible battles. Scale 1/5 will not suffice. Even a long 20 km climb will only be 4 km, that's nothing |

for me still not bad
you can complain on pc version because on that platform pcm has too many versions and cyanide aren't rookies on pc,but the biggest problem it's that there they don't listen the clients
but on consoles they haven't so many experience and basicaly come up in tdf 2013 with what i want badly(and others who played tdf 2012).so for console game they listen the complains and improved. it was logical that won't be 1:2 scale for fully playable stages
tdf 2013 it's more fun then tdf 2012
i probably insult my manager on tdf 2013 and won't listen his advices
Why? I would be absolutely stunned by possibility to play at least half of f.e. Galibier, not only fifth of it...this is not Call of Duty, so why shorten everything?
