Dies that happen very often? I remember a few riders here and there walking their bikes up steep cobbled climbs in the past couple of years, but never do many at once. It was like half the peloton.

Basically Leukemans stopped and everyone else behind him had to stop. Once you stop you won't set off you have to walk up.

Sagan got no team mates left. Terpstra and Stannard defeated themselves by riding at the back. It was always gonna happen.

Sagan still has 1 Cannondale rider left with him, and another one a bit further back.

Still, the peloton is thinning out nicely Wink

On the climb when Leukemans stopped he was alone now peloton slowed down so riders behind are catching up.

No more EPO

Meanwhile Martins has just helpfully informed us that although that Radioshack rider may look like Grégory Rast, it's actually Grégory Rast.

Thanks for that Paulo.
