@roturn: I know they are working correctly, I was just interested going into the last stage how much they could change just based on where they'll finish in the final stage.
I'm anal about that sort of thing

Misunderstood you then.
Well I might do the 6-32 later. But maybe I will write a bit about it before the next stage only depending on my time.

Doesn't only the last stage count?
I remember in old PCM's if two riders finished a tour in the same time, the rider who finished highest on the last stage was put first.
Or does the MG uses another way?

If so the GC after stage 5 would be completely different as Mehr-Wenige for example finished 7th but is behind Hermans (13.) and Kump (25.) due to their better addition of all stage results.
I don`t know how it was with old PCM`s but with PCM12 they do add all stages obviously.

It's been the total stage positions to determine GC for the last few versions - not just PCM12

Hoping Hermans can roll in before Kump then
And maybe enough infront of Hatanaka & Betancourt.

A shame that Olsson was 100++ on stage 4. Otherwise he would have been top 15, I guess.

Enjoy the report. |

WTF Kump. At least Hansen got the KoM, and 11th in GC isn't all that bad, but damn, a top 10 was quite easy. Well, could have been worse I guess.
Great work with the reports roturn.

Great job reporting the race roturn, excellent reports.
I'll definitely take this fluke of a result of 5th on GC and I am happy with another 5th on the final stage. Zingle already earning his pay and Feillu showing promising first signs.
Great riding from Gavazzi here. The TDU always throws up a surprise or two.

Great reports Roturn. Fully enjoyed it. Nice to see the team in soo many breaks, but no results here. Tough reality awaits though. Hopefully better results to come.
Well done to all the winners

Yes, great job on the reports and live-tickers as well! Some nice screenshots you had
This last stage finally went well for Oz. Rasmussen grabbed some points as 6th and with three of our riders within GC's Top-15, our depth brought some points as well.. still failed our 2nd sponsor goal in 2nd race of the season

Yeah great stuff here roturn, very fast pacing (with at least some gaps to draw breath!). It's a good pace for a stage race, they can be quite the marathon for a reporter.
Gavazzi - I recall did the square root of F*** All for Vespa in three seasons doing more in one race for UPC.
I have to say tsmoha choosing Tour Down Under as goal whilst understandable is very tough.

So close to the overall title, but I still can't complain! Stage win, second place on a stage and second in the GC should be a good bit of points.
I just wish there had been some gaps on Willunga Hill. Taborre and Salerno both looked strong and could've profited from that.
Great reports throughout the whole race, roturn. Was a pleasure to follow!

Yeah, agree. Should have learned from last year Even though I might have had a better chance this year, a Top-10 goal obviously would have been the better choice. At least good ol' Simon Gerrans did well.

Top 10 in the overall and a few Top 10's on stages, not too bad. Probably could have got a little more here, but still an okay result.
Cisco really impressed me here.
And great job reporting Roturn.

You be thinking of a Mattia Gavazzi there who is riding for Ekspla-Cision in the CT this year... and he did win a stage once for Vespa at the GP Torres Vedras.
Anyway, this Gavazzi, Francesco has been a fairly useful rider to have around.
Great reports there roturn - wasn't involved in the race, but really whetted the appetite for racing to start for us. |
