What time should I turn in tomorrow to see the Corkscrew climb? Will be painful to wake up, but I don't want to miss what could be a fun finish.

I haven't heard about any such rider this year. I think it has all fizzled out a bit. The enthusiasm has dropped since Vichot in 2010, and with the media catching on, last year (with Mol, I think) it was more about non-Aussies congratulating him on twitter than actual support out on the road. Without the element of surprise, this thing doesn't work as well anymore, I think.

Tim Wellens continuing his good performance in his second WT stage race as 5th.
Gilbert reportedly in a crash, I didn't see EBH or Gerrans in the group either.
Corkscrew rather anticlimatic, but the descent was good to watch. G the best uphill and in the sprint, the former far more surprising.
Very nice to see Greipel giving something back by relaying before the climb.

rather disappointing climb, expected a Gilbert attack (which didn't come)
good to see Thomas get the win, he looked pretty good too

Seemed as though Gerro and Gilbert were caught up in the crash. There own fault though, were mid pack going into the climb. |
