Finish? I don't know, definitely not anytime soon. First of all I have to finish my own variant, before I can take on another projects. So, no. Currently I don't see finishing historical TDF variants besides the 2006 version.

Life is sometimes quite funny. At the beginning I wanted to make just 3-4 stages to help the danish community, but now I've had finished the whole 2006 Tour. Anyway, here they are:

I was told it's a problem related to the server migration which is currently going on. This will be fixed soon, so please stay patient.

I see you became a very good stagemaker now, and the number of stages you did is absolutely incredible ! I will take this 2006 Tour as variant, and i also wait for your new TDF variant, which seems very nice, with very good slopes.. Great work ! |

Thanks for all your kind words here. For those of you who have problems with the Stage DB, here is an external download link (containing just the needed files to play it). Extract them into your stages-folder of the game.

Sorry, didn't checked my thread for a while. I tried reuploaded the stages just a moment ago, but the stage database doesn't work for me right now. I'll try tomorrow again. But just a couple of posts above yours is the whole 2006 pack, maybe you want to try this if you hadn't already.

They have to rebuild the script following the server changes...

I finally finished my new variant of the Tour de France. This is what you can find here:
- detailled stages, 100% covered with landscapes, cities, many single objects or fields
- very realistic slopes of the mountains
- almost every road has the wideness-value of '3' for better gameplay
Characteristics of the Tour:
- 20 Stages (last stage is the original one)
- 7 mountain stages (including the mountain timetrial)
- 12 flat stages (including the ITT and TTT)
- 2 hilly stages
- 3219 kilometers
- 152 kilometers of timetrial (15,5km in the mountains)
For further detail you can look in this thread, there are a lot of pics of the stages or better just play it.

Some promising "features" in this one Also really like the route. No "going crazy" on dozens of MTFs, but hard stages to make up for the lots of TT kms. Nice job, will be giving it a go certainly
