How do I save edits? I editted the name of my self made team, but ingame it doesnt show up. I editted the weekly save .cdb.
Is that correct? |

No, you have to edit the save. I am sure the path to the save is all over this thread:
my documents\pcm12\users\your name\database\solo\name of DB\
The weeklysave folder contains backups, created weekly. |

Ok thank you mate. Now i've opened the right one.
But now, how do I save it correctly? I just push the save database button and close the tool. When I start PCM and my savegame, it is not in it. What am I doing wrong? |

You have to use "export to cdb".
Loading and saving is used if you want to close the editor and continue at another time.

That doesn't really matter but I suggest you create a new one, so that if something didn't go right you'll still have a backup file.

The table name is "DYN_young_cyclist", which is quite obvious, so I don't know if this really is your question/problem.
If that does not solve it, you should consider telling us what you want to do/achieve because normally it is easier to help on a specific matter. |

Yes. I guess the easiest way would be to wait for the new year and then change the rider's team both in DYN_cyclist and DYN_contract_cyclist; if you want to do it in the offseason it's a bit more complex, but take a look here (they'd be instructions for moving a free agent to a team, but it should be similar to keep your rider):

Great editor, and the only one I've used for the past few years. I have a small wish, though. I would like to be able to delete whole rows. If this is possible already, please enlighten me 
Another thing: The editor "stops working" (according to Windows) and is shut down after I've browsed the fkIDcyclist list inside dyn_palmares_cyclist a few times. It might not handle the huge number of names because of the hardware, but I've tried two different computers (albeit quite old ones) with the same result.
EDIT: Oh, forget the first question, I figured I could turn off "table lookup".

If I understood you correctly, your only problem is "how to delete a row".
1. Select the row by clicking the little triangle left to the row (it will appear)
2. You can drag your mouse up or down while holding the left click button to select multiple rows
3. Press the delete button
4. Confirm the deletion
Warning: Deleting a row will also delete all linked rows. If you delete a rider for example, this will also delete his contract, results and so on. This might be good for some data but could be desastrous for others. For example deleting a trainer would delete all linked riders. |

Is it possible to renew sponsor contract in editor or revive the sponsor. Couldn't renew it in game although everything was green in confidence of Sponsor :S |

Assuming that the contract is running out, it is not so easy.
I think you have to set the correct value in the column value_i_sponsor_future (or value_i_sponsor_future2 for secondary sponsor) in the table DYN_team.
The formula for that column can be found using the forum search.
Also you might need to set the end of the contract in DYN_sponsor.
If I remember correctly from what I read, this edit will not be visible directly but only at the end of the season. So if you mess up, you will get a wrong sponsor at the end of the season and have to fix it again. |
