@Alakagom: I haven't planned doing that, but perhaps.

Which is the real profile? Awesome profile, looks like it's the same!
Also good slopes on the mountain. Great job =)

Astorga > La Farrapona - Lagos de Somiedo

Another mountain stage from the Vuelta 2011. This time the finish is on La Farrapona, close to Lagos de Somiedo.

After a break from serious stagemaking, I have decided to start creating a new variant. This time it will be one for the Vuelta. I hope you'll like it.
Vuelta a España

Stage 1: Cartagena > Cartagena: 191.2km
I decided to not have any prologue. Instead, we have a 191 kilometer long route starting and finishing in Cartagena, on the spanish east coast. The stage isn't very hard, but has three categorised climbs. However, the climbs aren't very hard, as the highest is a category 2.

Nice. Looking forward to this one. Especially as I still look for a Vuelta for my story this season.
In the next season I will definitely have the original 2011 profiles then as I never played with them.

@sam1196: Thanks!
@roturn: I hope you will like this one then. I can promise you one thing. There won't be as many TT kilometres as in my Giro.
Stage 2 is almost completed. I will upload it later today.

Here is stage 2. Hope you'll like it.
Vuelta a España

Stage 2: Mazarrón > Carboneras: 170.6km
Another flat stage, once again with some climbing on the first half of the stage and a very flat second half. The final kilometer is slightly uphill, about 3.5%. That isn't very much, but it might cause problems for the weaker sprinters.

Vuelta a España

Stage 3: Turre > Jolucar: 176.6km
This stage is a lot harder than the previous two. Seven classified climbs, including the 2nd category finishing climb up to Jolucar. The final climb isn't very long, but quite steep; 7% in average with a maximum gradient of just under 10%.

Vuelta a España

Stage 4: Santa Fe > La Lantejuela: 183.5km
Another flat stage, but with a lot of KoM sprints. However, they shouldn't be any big difficulty, as the hardest of them is of category 3. This is, no doubt, a stage for the sprinters. The finish is in the town of La Lantejuela, east of Sevilla.

Vuelta a España

Stage 5: La Lantejuela > El Rubio: 33.1km
The first time-trial of this race. It isn't a very long one, though, so it shouldn't provide any massive time gaps between the favourites. However, the rider who wins this TT has a good chance to take over the GC lead.
