That said I don`t get any monthly money from the government. I once had like 35â‚¬ but it all depends on what your parents are doing and other factors.

If you finish your studies successful, you pay back 50%. Even though there is some kind of maximum of ~30.000â‚¬ to pay back. Rest is for free. And if you fail your studies and stop your studies, then you have to pay back 100%. So actually it`s a credit without any interests and you have a few years time to pay back only half.
