Final stages of Eneco posted
https://pcmdaily.c...st_1286749
Spoiler Lots of wins for the breakaways and no attacks from the big guns such as GVK, Sep etc. A very disappointing race from a neutral PoV

Yup, that seemed like very passive racing. But I doubt anything could be done about Sagan anyway.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Mr. Panama Papers with a big breakaway win, amazing Not enough points from the team (thought he'd have done a good GC with two successful break involvements and cob/hi/prl around 70 ) but a very cool first pro win for Jacobsen
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Jacobsen - he starts to pay off <3
Our team was solid, nothing more. Going out of this without a top 10 is somehow painful.

Well that was a boring Eneco Tour. I hoped the cobbled stages would be more selective like they were in the past. At least my team is one of the lucky ones to have won a stage from the break. Thanks for the results Shonak. |

Underwhelming performance by Talansky in USAPCC, not sure what was up in the first TT which should suit him well. At least a decent outcome. Stybar zubeldia'ing to a top-10 in Eneco is decent as well

Great race. I'm slightly annoued by Boom losing time on the final stage (and Senechal earlier already) but Sagan and Geyer had great legs throughout the race

Good result by Puccio and also Pellaud did well. As expected the cobbles didn't have much influence.
Thanks for wrapping up the month Shonak!

Thank you Shonak for another quick wrap up!
Hainlete went very good, and Denmark the same, although there I was worried with the S3 splits cause I wasn't expecting Martin to be that dominant in the ITT.

Yeah, I was getting worried for a second, too. After all, I predicted Martin would win.
Thanks for the results, Shonak. I'm happy, too, Dowsett finally didn't fail and ended 12th, Schorn was 15th and once again won a stage. And Valgren and Stannard did well in Hainleite, plus McCluskey scored his first points, the last Aviva rider to do so.

Wow! Looyen ninth in Hainleite
About Denmark...
Fantastic stage win for Sanz in S2. But in which world that's not a gap?????????? The GC win was robbed in that moment, as then Sanz would amazignly hang on to a fourth place after losing the final podium places in the final stage sprint bonifications

PCM hates awarding time gaps on flat stages. And to be honest, that's usually a good thing. Because PCM likes to do that, having one sprinter or two or three finish 500 metres ahead of everybody else, which isn't realistic. (Sanz is good, but he's not superman. )

Sanz attacked 3-4km out, so it was actually a solo win. To me it looked like a solid gap too, however the road is actually going down, so the peloton is closer than it looks like.

In that case I take back my point and agree, Sanz should have been given a nice gap and won this race. But we know Vittel just has to win everything this year.

Komisarek somehow finished 2nd for the second year in the row in Post Danmark Rundt. I have to say tho after first three stages I wasn't so sure about that.
Thanks for the reports! |

Thanks Shonak! Shame Lindeman couldn't make a third in a row in the only ICL race he ever won.
Vuelta will start tomorrow and it will be a very special one! |
