Kind of sucks having so many break victories in the last stages. I think the reason for that is that the team of the winner only had 2 more riders finishing the race. So it was not strong enough to control the breaks.
Also another disappointing race for Italo, only Vandewalle did convince in the end through his break appearances.
Those last 2 stages were tits! De Bie to win stage 6 and Malori 2nd later on is something I'll take any day. Great race for us and now this could actually save us, but Vuelta has to be unexpectedly good for us not to get overtaken by what I imagine is a strong Saeco lineup.
Thanks for the video's, they're really a nice edition. A good stage 6 by Van Keirsbulck to redeem himself. Then the team rides a perfect stage 7, and he doesn't even bother with attacking Kristoff..
4th is quite a good result for Gilbert here. A bit of a shame he couldn't make up a bit more time, but in a race that's suited to more cobbled riders I can't really expect more than this.

Nice perfomances by Team Schuh. Dave Millar does a good TT, moves up to 11th on GC and Sam Bennett takes a stage win, the Points classification, 3rd on GC and a handful of stage podiums/top-10s. All in all, a very successful race for Schuh.
