Bauhaus came close to Zabel'ling himself. Aime De Gendt heroically stole the KoM-shirt.
Until next year, Tour of Denmark.

The motorcycle Gustavo Veloso wins the MTF in Portugal, but his teammate is still in the lead. Brandao gave it his everything, but nothing to do against that superhuman |

6.6 w/kg for the climb by Veloso, Silva and Brandao all while attacking right from the base of the climb suggest it's not just Veloso who is superhuman

The oldman still has it, it seems!
Volta a Portugal, what an amazing freak show! Almost no fucks given thoughout the whole season and then cataclysmic performances for a week and a half. Erratic tactics, illegal sprints and Professional amateurism. That's portuguese cycling for you guys

I really do hope Joni Brandao will join a team like Caja Rural, I think he could do well. He has upside and has shown he can perform in other races (3rd in Castilla y Leon, the race Valverde won). That probably means, maybe, that he isn't as dependant on super charging drugs as others. Only speculation tho. |

Antunes is another one who looks like he could step up from the Portuguese Conti scene, he's only 25 and has twice finished inside the top 10 at the Volta and did finish 10 overall and 4th only 20 seconds down on Contador on the Malhao stage in Algave this year.

Today Veloso won again, but the spotlight goes o Brandão who attacked in the second time they climbed Torre and was more than 70km alone until he was caught by Sky (W52-Porto).
He'll probably go to Caja Rural, and it's a shame he can't win this race

Yeah W52 dominating in the Volta
Amazing racing going on in Utah, Adrien Costa REALLY showing he is the real deal. As much as I hate to say it (used way too lose) this is a TdF type of winner racer. Supreme talent. |

There goes my Dombrowski bet. With Talansky in this break he'll like take over leadership.
Starting to get really excited about Costa. What a kid! It's hard to think he's barely older than me and he's already able to pull this off. This kid will be U25 eligible for many years still. Really excited!

You should, Talansky and TJ pales in comparison!
Edit: Eisenhart not looking too shabby either, good day for the American youth
