I missed Angliru stage on purpose, i will not support this bullshit by watching it. Whoever thinks cycling is clean last few years, look at Vuelta every year
2010 Cobo
2011 Froome
2013 Horner
All riders doing their doped performances in last years of their contracts, unwatchable cheating, i am done with Vueltas for long time. Stupid morons, Nibali and Valverde are also suspicious as hell, where is this sport going? (well rather why it is not moving forward, just one big stinky swamp).
Good 9th in GC for König in his GT debut, even when he had to overcome the ilness, way to go Leo!
Cobo was also 2011.

Hahahahaha, well done Horner. Still much to learn from Serena, her panic room move easily beats this.
Good to see USADA buys Horner's win as much as we do btw.

2 minutes ago on Twitter:
Julien Prétot @julienpretotRTR
Radioshack: "[the testers] came to the team hotel, Horner was not there, he was in the hotel where his wife was staying."
Julien Prétot @julienpretotRTR
Radioshack also say hotel change is mentioned in whereabouts form #Horner
so no. press reports are wrong |

And why didn't the RS guys tell the testers where he was instead of letting them go to a wrong 2nd hotel? Still as unbelievable as the rest of the last 3 weeks.

So, world class riders like Nibali and Valverde are being suspicious when they deliver a performance that could be expected from them, but König only gets praise for his surprising 9th place? Seems rather arbitrary to me.
You mean König who came 10 minutes behind?

Because otherwise they would have to rely on a Shleck to get them a GT win. |

While I still believe Horner was cheating during the Vuelta, this is a very big mistake from the testers. Not only did they go to the wrong hotel, they also should not have brought this to the media only a few hours after the incident.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

This is too funny. The only way it could get any more obvious would be if all the other riders in Radioshack's Vuelta squad tested positive

Yes, that König. People easily make the mistake of measuring the chances of doping abuse by a rider's absolute performance, while suspicion should be more about relative performance. Horner made a remarkable career jump, Nibali and Valverde did not. König is somewhere in between. Not saying that he doped, but if rider A is 10 minutes slower than rider B, it doesn't prove to me that rider A is not doping and rider B is. So this is why I consider your suspicions arbitrary. |

QFT!!!
But König isn't particular suspicious in my book. Was always considered very talented, but had a lot of problems with injuries.

Testers didn't even check that. So obviously testers mistake.
The 'he wasn't in a 2nd hotel story' was made up by press |

That's why I wrote "not saying that he doped". I like König, doesn't make sense for me to burn him down. The only truly suspicious things I saw in the Vuelta were Pozzovivo's time trial (but he was far from exceptional in the mountains) and, well... good old Horner. |
