Loved Van Poppel's performance there, not afraid to make his hands dirty and counter the attackers himself. Good ride from Ackermnn as well. Just so bad he can't be like this at his season goals.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Woohoo, Schorn strikes back! After failing to even make the top 40 in a few mass sprints recently! Sprinters are such delicate creatures.

Disappointing final TT for Durbridge to not even beat all his contenders while he definitely should've. 4th in the GC is still a great outcome for us though

GVK is on fire this season, definitely a candidate for the rider of the year award.

Vanbilsen channeling some of his left-over Filliers mojo in Baltic Chain
Also, San Sebastien posted belatedly: https://pcmdaily.c...st_1286068

Grande Bananito. The guy is bullseye shooter, hitting when it counts the most to me

Great result. Seeing Betancur win is quite cool when Sagan performs as well

Good to see Komisarek to be 5th twice in the Baltic Chain Tour. Tho my goal races were not a good choices. San Sebastian was a mess. |

Baltic starting decently, with Sanz taking a podium in S3 and Gatto a top in S2.
Meanwhile in San Sebastian, Moser totally disappointing in the sprint for third place, but De Marchi's 6th place makes up for it, although not completely

Yeah the pace is just mind-blowing, I have to comment on 4 new races after a day.
Let's start with the bad ones:
San Sebastian was an absolute no-show from Puccio, so nothing from there. Baltic Chain Tour is already done for us too basically with Cancellara presumably crashing (?) on stage 2 and the entire team losing 5 minutes, hopefully we'll keep on joining breaks like on stage 3.
Premio San Jose was pretty decent from Puccio and Pasqualon. Just a shame that Puccio decided to stop pedaling from 2 to 1 km to go or so.
USA Pro Cycling Challenge started decent as well, Caruso has to carry us there once more.
Thanks a lo for all these reports and efforts guys.

Maybe I've missed an announcement or something but shouldn't the route of USAPCC be different? At least the profiles in the calendar don't fit with the stages posted so far. I don't really mind, but I'd be cool to know which stages are still to come.

You seem to be correct. I guess the fairest could be to rerace on the posted route, but I still suggest keeping the results how they are, if noone minds. On both routes probably the same riders would be in contention.
In that case two flat stages and probably not so selective hilly stage 6 follow. |
