Because of José Rujano not being in best shape, we didn't had too high expectations for Dauphiné, but in the end, it turned out into a very succesfull ProTour-appearance for Dark Dog! Rujano had his problems in the non-mountains-stages, but he at least managed to hit the Top-20! But our highlight here in France was of course.. Jan-Michael Schromm! The German talent, who joined our team as a trainee last season, had his first win as a professional, and he did it in an awesome style. He's one of our most promising climbers for the future... overall winner of Dauphiné 2012 is (like baia predicted ) Samuel Sánchez! Thanks to his amazing performances in the final two stages! What a finish for him and what a pity for Tony Martin, who dominated the timetrials..

Wow. Never thought anybody but Martin could win this after the TT. What an attack by Sanchez =O
And great race for DD, Schromm with a mega-awesome solo mountain stage win and Rujano in top 20

Looking forward to this one. Really like the small CT races. Unfortunately I race much to less of them in my story. |

A quite succesfull Tour de Beauce for Team Dark Dog! Our two Canadiens Cameron Evans (5th in GC) and Keir Plaice (KoM-jersey) did a good race in their home-country and Daryl Impey added two stage-wins, the points-jersey and 4th in GC as well! Though it's "only" a small race, we are happy about our results here.. Rory Sutherland made the overall win with a nice attack and his win in final stage! Congrats:

No jersey this time, but at least a podium for José Rujano, thanks to his 3rd place in the mountain-stage! He was the first of favourites to attack on the final climb and looked good for a few km's.. but unfortunately Dyachenko and Serpa had the better finish (and maybe tactic?). Rujano felt good and he tried, so we can be happy with our results here. Rujano will be in good shape for his next race, Österreich-Tour, which is one of his main goals for this season! Congratulations to Alexsandr Dyachenko:

3rd with Rujano is quite good. Even if you wanted the overall win. |

It was a nice move from Rujano but like you said, maybe a little too early...but this doesn´t take the great 3rd place from him....congrats.

@all: Thank you very much! Rujano did well, I expect him to be in similar shape for Österreich-Tour and may try to attack a bit later
@cavfan8: I will just do a summary of the NC, both ITT and Road.. so just the results and some pics. I don't like putting up every single national championship
So.. here's the first.. NC's ITT-results:
