Stage 4: 1st
Stage 5: 2nd
Stage 6: 3rd
Stage 7: 2nd
Stage 8: 2nd

Aargh, close one for Bevin. Strange race with Ewan, Bevin and Wippert dominating the things here. Thömel spoiled the party then
Ah forgot to say:

Just checked Ewan on ProCyclingStats.
How is he still only 20? We've known him for years now!
What a talent, though. |

Well we have been discussing him since he was 17-18 so yeah it does feel like a long time, it is good to see him winning even if it's in lower ranked races. OGE really are playing it well with such a young rider but they are gaining a good reputation with developing young talent.

Boonen wins in Köln. Kittel returns with a 6th place.
Edit: Apparently there was a breakaway. Kittel won the sprint of the bunch.

Good to see Boonen win something again, and Theuns should win the Europe Tour easily. I think he's even better then Van Asbroeck last year.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Martin Mortensen won the inaugural Velothon Wales in a 3 man break from Ignatas Konovalovas and Thomas Habeaux. Russell Downing the top Brit in 4th. Not the strongest of fields for a 1.1 race, really.
Broken bike meant I couldn't do the Sportive, but at least got a few pics of the Pro race from around 2km to go.

The Velothon Wales has caused uproar to the locals as many couldn't get to the shops without taking a twenty five mile detour and a bride had to walk three miles to get to her big day and no apology was given by the race organisers, bad planning me thinks |

What a talent, though.
Let me know when he wins anything worth mentioning.
Sagan had like 5 WT stage wins at this age.

Sagan 5 years ago:
GP Kooperativa (1.2)
2 stages Mazovia Tour (2.2)
2 stages Paris-Nice (2.HC)
1 stage Tour de Romandie (PT)
3 stages Tour of California (2.HC)
only 1 Pro Tour win (which is now basically the WT)

2 Paris - Nice as well though, that kind of counts.

Paris-Nice was definitely a PT quality race back in 2010, no matter it was left out that year , but you are right with California, my bad.
I can imagine how long you have waited to have another nice shot on me to fuel your Sagan hate.

apperantly P-N was a UCI World Ranking event but wasn't Pro Tour. the two merged after 2010 into World Tour we currently know. so counting it is up to own interpretation
I looked at the first few stages results of Cali with great pleasure then I started watching and he won

Ouch, i suppose you stoped watching right after, but please can you watch some Tour de france this year, so Sagan can actually win a stage there?
Btw. we can make that comparsion in a year or two, maybe Ewan will start catching on Peter and start winning other than obscure races.

Nice to see Eddie Dunbar back on a bike, finishing nicely in Velothon Wales.
