Not a lot going on for us in the last stages.
Amaysim with a great Giro so far, but unfortunately for them I don't think it will be much of a challenge for Dombrowski to take back that pink jersey.

Now that's obviously a great day for us indeed
Looked like Durbridge would struggle to beat Hepburn, but fortunately he could live up to his role as the favorite. This stage is what he came for on first hand and a GT stage win is always nice (and rare for us).
Haig's time didn't impress me first, but eventually it's a solid TT and more seconds gained than I expected (might have underestimated the length of the stage or just being a pessimistic guy). A couple of days (I assume) in pink will be valuable points and even though Dombrowski was better in the mountains so far, there's a chance to hold on to the GC lead longer than that. Keep it going, Jack!

Hoped for a better TT by Foss but no luck. Anyway, now its gotta be the hope for mountain breaks for us. Foss is too high up the GC to join them any time soon (i guess?) but i would love to see Koch and Blums starting to be more active.

Dennis with a good TT though just outside the points. Perez with a promising result for Cuba's future in cycling.

Great TT for us! Obviously a podium would have been fantastic (and unexpected), but 5th and 8th for Bissegger and Küng sounds good as well.
More importantly, Stüssi did even better than I was hoping for, not only easily overtaking Bennett, Godoy and Carthy as expected, but also Rodrigues - 6th overall sounds really great. And he'll obviously not stay up there, but he's well in the fight for a Top 10 overall before the breakaway madness/shakeup starts.
For breakaways, Stüssi is obviously too high up now, but Darbellay and Schmid should be good candidates. But first it's gonna be Bol's turn to deliver again, as his Ciclamino will obviously be under serious threat tomorrow!
Thanks for the report, and congrats to tsmoha on both the stage win and taking over Pink.

No notes on a TT that only served to get us further away from the lead and thus make everyone on the team eligible for breakaways now.
Congrats to Amaysim on both the stage and the maglia rosa, it'll be exciting to watch that battle now!

The climbs not going too well for Mas/Rodriguez and a decent shift from Castrillo in the TT. But our real success is coming from young Thijssen! 3rd here for another podium which takes him to 2nd in the Points classification. Unsure a Sprinter will take it in the end but, if so, then I hope he's up there fighting for it!
Thank you for the great reports so far!! Looking forward to my young team continuing their breakaway efforts and maybe a KOM or stage win effort from my 2 lead climbers.

Disappointing last couple of stages from Enger.

Had my hopes up for the breakaway seeing they were 5, and especially as Suter was there. He definitely was the right guy to put up front. A pity the sprinters and their teams were committed to making it a sprint.
Amayism making everything click right now, congratulations again, tsmoha! |

Another top 10 for Sureda does very little points wise, but it's still above expectations and a nice little result on an otherwise uneventful day. Not sure what tomorrow will bring, but good to see Galta in a solid position, and we'll hope that continues.
Nice to see Suter in the break. Miss him a bit for that role.
Congrats to tsmoha on the continued success! brought their A team here and being rewarded now.

Hard couple of days for us. The TT was expected so we slip to 8th but Cullaigh deciding to bomb every stage and tell us we shouldn't have bothered bringing him here is a disaster. Obviously there are a few more opportunities for him to grab a stage win but only one 6th in this race so far as a disgrace!!

Groves ain't consistent this race, but a stage win plus a second place earlier on is obviously great stuff overall. Definitely enjoying this first half of the race, just keep it that way

A day in the break is good, especially sending Visser is a solid choice as i thought about these first week kinda stages when loaning him. Didnt get anything out of it but thats fine.

Congrats to tsmoha, Amaysim really on fire right now!
Bol taking another stage podium and even extending the lead in the points standings is a huge result for us, hopefully he'll do just as well when it really matters point-wise
Although I have to admit that despite our great results, I don't quite like the sprint outcomes, with only second-tier sprinters winning stages so far. No clue what's the issue with some of the fastest men, but it's definitely not great to see. Hope they'll bounce back in the second half...
Thanks for the report!

Would have to put Jura and Amaysim as the biggest winners so far. Very cool storylines for both as we approach the halfway point. Congrats to both!
Really looking forward to the high mountains!

So NOW Johannessen is our protected GC rider for this stage after losing 20 minutes?
Impossible to make sense of that, unless the game just assigns him to Steimle duty on any hard stage, which would explain them finishing together on Blockhaus and here...
Too bad that big group inside the final 10km didn't work out, that was an incredible move by Steimle to join it and it looked very promising at first.
Just too hard of a finish for him against this opposition, but I like that we tried.
Congrats to ember! A convincing win there.

Damn, terrible luck for Haig to lose time there. No idea how the pink jersey could get caught out so far back.
Not ideal for a couple of our competitors to get time bonuses here, particularly Hirt, but that's the price to pay for Galta's lack of acceleration. Happy we made the split and didn't lose any real time here. Now it's only high mountains ahead, and we are starting with a slight buffer. Gotta make it this count.
Congrats to ember! Worthy winner for that type of stage.
