Kragh Andersen too close to Eislers and his train this time. 7th is fine, we already have a stage after all. Keeping decently close in the points standings too.
Really feel for knockout. Evonik making a great train but just going half a km too early every single time. Teams/riders in this game are incapable of learning from mistakes.

Very close finish. Could have easily been the win Van Poppel is targeting here, but the podium will have to do for now.

An uneventful stage for us, with the maglia rosa easily defended for another day.
The sprint was exciting to watch from afar and very tight, which led to a volatility that sadly left a few hopeful managers disappointed yet again
Congrats to Tinkoff though! Nice to see an Italian take it.

Was nice to see Areruya have a couple of goes on Stage 8 but wasn't to be. Frustrating to watch another Evonik miss on Stage 9, Eislers and the train deserve better

We really suck at getting into those breaks at this rate.
We have to be in the next and with sufficient quality to actually fight for some KOM succes. We need some points soon, otherwise this race is a total write-off.

Annoying to be the extra guy in the breakaway fight twice in a row for Bazhkou - hope we get in one soon

Great racing by our team today, so close for Villella to take over the KOM and the podium for Scully.

Close to that top 10 again, but probably need a few sprinters to go home after the mountains to mix it up with the best. 0 points for us so far after 10 days, so hopefully we can try something in the coming days.
Looks like it's tougher for the breaks to go all the way in this year? Will be interesting to see how it develops as the race goes on.
Cool to see a Norwegian rider winning!

Dang, it's so frustrating to watch this happen to Eislers every time. It's a level of consistency (in a bad way) that I didn't think this game was even capable of.
AKA similarly went too early today, but 6th is fine. Congrats to tsmoha!

Who cares about bonus seconds, Lennard fucking Kämna just took stage points in a Grand Tour riding for Puma!

What a strange stage for us.
First we mess up and doesn't join the break. What a pathetic effort on the one stage that suits us the most - and ends in a breakaway rider winning. Wake up!
But then Kiriakidis takes 4th in the sprint for some remarkable reason, totally out of the blue. Mavrikakis survives the front group and jumps to 4th in the KOM without being mentioned at any point so he now actually have a shot at attacking the competition (although he probably won't).
What annoys me though is that Isostar with the same setup as us goes away with 3 riders and takes the win, while we don't bring a single. That's just not good enough!

Our team played it perfectly today. Bringing the most numbers in the group, sacrificing helpers for Roman, attacking it on the climbs and finishing it off. What an amazing performance by our leader, perfect execution of our game plan. We only had chances on these type of stages as nobody is strong enough for mountain breakaway wins, so this is a perfect one. The Giro goak is now already achieved, everything else is a bonus.
Also thanks again for the good reports

Had hoped maybe this was a stage for Areruya to claw back time but I guess nobody was interested in making this a GC stage or a peloton stage win stage which is a shame. Still, I very much enjoyed that brilliantly executed win from Roman and Isostar, congrats Croatia

Lovely to see Sergis + buddy on the attack here. Good choice of stage, just unfortunate that he couldnt stick with Roman to the end. Congrats Cro!

Thought it was gonna be a nothing stage for us, but then Kamna rolled in for a top 10!
Congrats to Croatia!

Nothing much for us in the last stages.
Hopefully no bad surprises from Dombrowski next.

Zoncolan time! The scariest climb of any Giro d'Italia.
I hope Silvio has a good day and the team can protect him well into the finale.
The stage up until then is rather easy, so the energy levels should be similar for most favorites going into the Zoncolan.
Then it's all about daily form and following the right moves!
You can't win the Giro tomorrow, but you can absolutely lose it.

Just awful positioning at the bottom of the climb once again. Makes me very nervous for the rest of the race and I guess we're just not treated as a top or even second tier GC guy and so we don't bother to position Areruya well - on a stage like this we're making it even harder for ourselves than it already is. At least we're back in white but really worrying.
Congrats cio, Herklotz putting a big mark down there.
