Nice to see Bobridge win after his struggles last season. This race was just a little too hard for my plans to work out really but Ford grabbing a stage win was really good to see. Shame Rowe didn't get to shine in the last stage. Now that would have been a surprise

Fantastic race for us, but I'm really happy to see Bobridge deliver for you tsmoha! One of the coolest riders in the game for sure. Congrats everyone who did well here, and thank you Tamijo for the great reports!

Finally a win for Danny!
Great team work there.
In the final sprint I assume it was Van Poppel who you kept calling Van der Poel
Congrats tsmoha and ember for that Kwiatek win. Thanks for reports, Tamijo!

Sadly this was a terrible allround performance by our squad.

Nice to get another top10 with Hsu. it looks like he could've done even better if he had found some space but 6th is fine.
All in all a good race from my team which could have, looking at the small gaps, been even better if Brändle and Gidich had TTs their stats worth. However it was still enough to place them in a good position for a strong GC.
Thanks for the great reports throughout Tamijo and congrats tsmoha on the win with Bobridge! |

Thank you for the reports, Tamijo! Enjoyed the consistency, kind of always knowing when to look for a report
That was a perfect final stage for us, with Kwiatkowski securing 2nd in the GC. Really, really happy with that! Also big congratulations to especially tsmoha on that Bobridge win. Didn't really think he would make it here with this being a hilly stage race, seeing how those played out last season, but looks like the stage and race creators have done a good job balancing it to suit puncheurs well.
Also cool to see van Poppel get that PT win. Well done, alexkr00! |

Great reports. Even though it was a really disappointing race for us, the reports were nice to read. Hopefully this was a bad daily form for Kinoshita, because I was expecting much more, and it looked like he was the 2nd strongest rider in the race, up until stage 6.

Ah man. Aregger had a Top 3 in sight, but got boxed in. He had the speed.
Such a shame, that could've saved our race.
This way, we leave with nothing, further amplified by the stupid strategy decisions we made when we did get into a promising position.
Not unexpected, but still we could have done better, and at least should have been smarter.
Heartfelt congrats to Bennelong who finally get to cheer on Bobridge again, it's been worth the wait!
I guess all of the Top 8 can be happy, then we get into the territory where pre-race favorites (Mohoric,Kinoshita, Skujins) mix with the usual overperformers in week-long stage races (Sepulveda, Kangert).
Thank you for the detailed and enjoyable reports as always Tamijo, I'm a sucker for lengthy sprint recaps and especially when they involve speeds as well!

14th in the end hurts a bit, i think we could have looked at 60-70 points more here if the first few stages went a bit better for Skujins and/or we would have been a bit more lucky with stage results but as it looks, the other races in the triple header are good for Evonik so i dont worry too much about this race at this point.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Shame Kangert dropped a huge amount of GC places in the last hill stage. But still he and Tratnik did well and scored a decent amount.
Congrats tsmoha!

Nice to see Bobridge actually turn up and deliver a great result!
But ouch, such a painful race for Van Garderen. Clearly should have done better, but just kept on going backwards in all the key parts of the stages.
Fortunately Goos stepped up to deliver an excellent 10th, and Wirtgen in there for 18th too.
And finally a good stage result out of either Tirreno or PNice in the final stage - 2nd is great for Afewerki, especially from a lead out position.
Thanks Tamijo!
