Great signings! Especially Grmay is really great to have for 50k!

Some very nice signings I think, Grmay at that price tag especially. Very curious to see what Afewerki and Grebrezgabihier will be able to accomplish in PCT, I was interested in both of them as well.

Contemplated Olivier, but opted for other Mauritian riders instead. Strong transfers so far! Seems like Africa isn't quite the intense battle for signings it was a few seasons ago.

The rumours are true, Jack Bobridge is joining the team! Project: Africa struck a last minute deal with Amaysim Cervélo. It's no doubt a rather sad departure, but a fitting one with team manager tsmoha providing the following interesting tidbit:
"Jack Bobridge's first race win - 2012 for Oz Cycling Project - with a long range (90km iirc) solo move/victory at Nedbank Cycle Classic in Namibia"
Stefan Denifl has blessed the team by arriving from Red Bull Zalgiris and Reinhardt Janse van Rensburg returns to the team after a couple of seasons at Minions. The team also welcome loanees Girdlestone, Pidcock, and Hamza.

That Bobridge deal is surely one of the best deals anyone has made in a long time. Huge congrats! The rest of the team shapes up nicely with lots of strong african riders |

I think Aidan won this transfer season
Not only Bobridge but the Pidcock deal as well, plus bringing in some excellent free agents. This will be a great PCT squad, congrats.

Thanks guys! I'd love to take credit for the deal, but it was just a case of luck. All my targets were unavailable and I just happened to have the wage cap left

Here you go, the winning moment from that Nedbank Classic in 2012, rescued from the Photobucket dungeons:
Will be good to see Girdlestone given an opportunity for more racing for you this season, and I of course hope to see Afewerki go well too!

Well, congrats on this transfer season! Bobridge is not even a bargain anymore at that fee - he's much better, but don't know what else to call it
The cash earned with the Pidcock loan obviously helped a lot with this, but well done for sure!
By the way, you should change your thread title. Maybe directly change it to PT?

Congrats on Bobridge
I don't expect to battle him a whole lot, but he'll certainly shake things up. Looks a good team with some of the other additions

Really cool signings all around. A bit on the older side, but for this year, you should have a fantastic squad!

Damn, some absolutely stacked leaders from some very clever and prudent timing and moves. Age is definitely a concern long term, but it's clear you have to talent as a manager to handle that and adjust as it comes.

Clearly the Bobridge deal/steal helped you a lot, but apart from him you've signed some other nice (regional) leaders like Bongiorno, Afewerki, etc. that should really be helpful this season. Even though Laizer has joined our ranks meanwhile, I feel your TTT department is also still quite strong and ready to give Bobridge more than just a hand in the race(s) where it matters. Not looking forward to meet you in said race(s), but some things are inevitable Good luck this season!
