Another great day for NZ and Africa - hope we can actually begin contributing to that soon though Par for the course from Areruya, could have gone better but kept it quiet and hopefully he's fresh and ready for the upcoming moments of truth. Exciting stuff.
So glad I shipped Schleck out in case he got ahead of Areruya, hoping to see some aggression from him in the mountains.

Padun managed to be under 2 minutes, but I think more needs to be done to slash the gap even more

I think Cherkasov has so far been mentioned once or twice in six stages, and he's still holding his own in the GC. Great rider you have there trekky
Inkelaar doing fine too in stages that don't really suit him. Hope he can stay strong on the mountains too.
Nice to see some breakaway action from our riders.

There we go. Happy to have two guys in the break, showing the jersey and having fun. Successful stage.

Not great from McCormick, may not be able to help Powless much on the climb but he could at least start it in a decent position.

Yeah shame he started so far back.
Looking forward to the mountains.

Pogi climbs another spot on GC
Now the real climbing begins.

This race is a joke... I hate TTs in this game making riders so overpowered...

I guess Pogi's dreams of a top 10 result are over

Hmm, that GC fight is actually much more interesting than I anticipated.
Not for us though, how did this Schleck guy even make the team? I didn't vote for him..
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Nice to see Marc jump into the KOM jersey, it would be amazing if he could take an outright lead instead of just a share of it and hold on until the end of the race, especially as this is the first of 3 years he will be Avenir eligible.

Aidan is doing absolutely brilliant here. Obviously he won't win the pointscompetition with Padun this close and a flat + mountaintop stage left to go, but we have to be very content with the status of being currently leading it, having 2 stagewins and a GC 2nd...
Roman up to 5th giving him a decent shout at actually getting a podium, while Aidan could potentially snatch a top 10 too if he rides well enough on the final stage.
Now hopefully a sprint win for our team!

Outstanding Teamwork by Aidan and Alex, great stuff. Another stage win would've been perfect, but we played our numbers well...

Yay, awesome to get a stage win here! Still not quite where we want on GC but that final stage can still change everything, happy enough with today, our first ever Avenir win (or really notable result at all outside of S6 ).
And again, just so so glad I shipped Schleck out. Sorry Ollfardh

Brilliant GC defense from Gidich. It's going to be tough resisting the pure climbers in the last stage, but at least, unlike our actual riders elsewhere, he's providing a good reputation for our jersey.
Epic victory jandal and thanks for another fantastic report cunego!

Sorry Fabianski for giving you Cullaigh... I've been underwhelmed with his performance here. Williams however has given us a little more and still is in the hunt for the KOM jersey, which is good since he fell away significantly in the GC.
Hope he's in the break on the final mountain stage!
