Well, not the results we may have been hoping for with Cort Nielsen edging around the rear end of the Top 10. Unfortunate that he was forced to attack in Stage 6, but hopefully he can pick up some time as Saggiorato in 6th is just within reach. |

Indeed that was pretty scary, but Le Bon is continuing to live up to his 0$ wage, didn't expect such a performance from him, extra few depth points never hurt nobody. Next stage is right up Intxausti's alley, he better not screw it up and get a minute on opponents and win both KoM and Points jerseys, I expect nothing less than complete domination tommorow

First and foremost, great report!
Secondly, LETS GO THOMAS FAIERS! Massive win for us. Not the stage I was expecting to win but I will most definetely take it, we're also very close to a podium now if Faiers keeps up the form tomorrow!

Big win for NENT, happy with Solis taking the KoM lead, need to hold it now.

Kiserlovski needs to learn how to attack properly. Although still up there in third overall so hopefully he can keep that! The favourites are getting annoyingly close to Altanzuls green jersey...hopefully he can finish high in the last stage to keep the green jersey or a breakaway win in stage 9.
Great win for Faiers and thanks for the report!

Cracks beginning to show in Intxausti... dropping off the back that early isn't good and I hope for a repeat performance tomorrow from Pinot and our mountains train. Maybe not to the extent where we kill off off our domestiques but the pressure we put on will be key.
Well done Faiers on the win and thanks for the report aquarius

Wow, great win by Faiers, that took me by surprise
As for our part, yet another dismal performance by Atapuma. Last chance today to try to win back some time and still be in contention for top 10, but that would be a huge bonus as to how things are looking right now.
Thank you for the thrilling report Aquarius! |

Great stage !! thanks for reporting.
Nice and fair win by Thomas Faiers, very well rounded rider for this particular stage. also having the advantage of Benat and Thibaut mostly watching each other.
Magnus Cort the surprise of the race, don't know what Tryg Insurance get for breakfirst, but my riders want some.
Like the way the AI seems to analyses the different profiles and seemingly also the current GC situation. Won’t go into too many details of this, as it is also based on races not reported yet, just that you much more clearly see that Flat/Hilly/Mountain is no longer a simple guideline, it has become more based on the actual profile of the stage. Still a bit unclear what Hill v Mountain does, but we have seem a good punch matter on an easy mountain profile. Flat seems also to be more important for sprinters positioning than it used to be. All good signs that more complex rider development will be the future, (this should prevent too much 85)

Super consistency from Brandt- just needs to bring it home in one more mountain stage |

Strong move by my man Faiers, that's lovely! Also I really like the performance of Pavlic here, doing a very good job on 50k wage for OMV Albania. I really like the racing this stage. Also Intxausti getting into difficult early when the pace suddenly kicked up and coming back later and turning it around very much aligns with his stats, which is nice to see.

Don't like the result. I hope Saggiorato will do better on the last mountain stage. And especially Signorini is really disappointing, seems like his weak FL might be an issue with PCM 18. But Mäder definitely shouldn't be our 3rd rider on this stage.
If I just look at the positions (7 and 13) of Saggiorato and Manfredi, I could sure be happy, but given that Saggiorato was 4th after the first mountain stage, I'm not really happy now. Let's see how things unfold on the last two stages.
Of course, the race must have been great to watch from a neutral perspective, thanks for the report! And congrats to the winner.

Intxausti pulled one out of his ass for this stage. Sadly no KoM jersey for him, will have to settle for 2nd, but Points jersey still up for grabs and if it goes the way it did in the first hilly stage, there's a chance to grab that too

Back to back for Faiers, what a stage! He is already proving to be quite the signing. Also securing top 3 in the GC is massive, nice little cheeky top 10 for De Vos too! Great report!

Damn Intxausti is strong! Thought Tibo's attack at the end was enough but sadly not. 2nd on GC pending the laat stage is still a good result and it was a minimum expection for us.
Well done Faiers on the 2nd stage win and sneaking onto the podium and thanks for the great report again

Super Brandt does it again, had hopes of a breakway victory with Carddock too.
Brandt could lose a bit in a hilly stage but I think he has built up a decent cushion, great reporting |

Well still a top 5 in the stage but Kiserlovski loses his 3rd spot by 6 seconds and Altanzul his green by 10 points 1 stage to go and we need a good showing from Altanzul and Kiserlovski to show his strength!
Another great win from Faiers and another great report!!

The only 70+ Acc Stage Racer in the race with his 2nd victory. Seems like that stat is not dead So happy that he does well for NENT.
Shame Pavlic has cracked. Potocki did one hell of a job for Pinot but a shame that he just couldn't pull it off. What is wrong with Azteca btw, really thought Squire could fight for the win here. |

Now that the mountains are done, we can get back to what Azteca likes about this race. A punchy stage coming up where Squire or Bravo really should excel and give us a great shot at a 4th stage win. With any sort of luck Squire can even make up some time and move up a bit in that GC.

Disappointing not to have anyone in the break despite a lack of contenders, but nothing can be done about that.
