This certainly is an awesome pick, and the former Junior WC could've gone way earlier.
As we are only 14 active guys, which is a little bit less than expected, we could continue with a 3rd round in the kick-off draft as the talent pool would allow such thing, I roughly planned 40 riders to go in the kick-off draft. You guys would prefer this or continuing in January?

Considering there won't be races untill january I would wait for that, because in three months the situation will be almost the same (no races for judge new talents)

I get the point that not much will happen because now and then, but would like to see more than 2 riders in my team at this point to just have a bit more of a starting base and think another round or two would be fun.

I think that another round (or two) would be a good idea for some reasons:
- I'd find it hard to choose for the planned awards in december with teams of only two riders, especially with nearly no races until then to judge upon (otherwise Freitas has no really competitors, as he has picked Gino Mäder who does really well at the Tour of Hainan  ).
- This way the chances are higher we keep the thread alive until december.
- It would be fun. |

Nooooo, Johansen! I had him on the top of the list for the next round, hoping everyone would forget him.  Great pick, anyway.
As for an extra round or two I wouldn't mind. I think we can only truly start to judge new emerging talents around February/March when the first U23 races are held, some may appear slightly in January, but more prominent in the .1 races, I'd say. So one now wouldn't make any difference, only to have a more robust team. |

Adding an extra round, no thanks. You said it would be two, we all planned for two. If i knew there was going to be three or four i would have changed my second round pick. I am more than happy to wait for January!
