Sagan always finds a way to finish second

Why didn't Benoot try earlier? He was so strong but he is no match in a sprint for GvA and Sagan. |

Well done Van Avermart .. not sure Sagan really knew the finish perhaps? Cagey sort of stuff from GvA but brilliantly done smart.
Bit of a learning experience from Benoot and Rowe but those two have strength. Etixx team boss wil no doubt rage about it again

Maybe with the Peloton being so close that the pace was just to high to attack

Also, Etixx doesn't even place a guy in the top 10. |

Really good to see GVA takes a big flanders classic finally. Again, this could definitely be the year of his classic sweep.
Hats off to Gougeard. Rowe and Benoot also confirm their great classic showings from last year.

Interesting race, Van Avermaet and Sagan obviously the strongest. Benoot was good, but should've pokered more with Debusschere in that group behind. Gougeart is a great rider, but we knew that already. Don't understand how you can tell a guy like that to go in the early breakaway.
Etixx wasn't good enough, ok you don't have Lampaert, Van Keirsbulck etc yet, but they still were no where to be seen. The other teams also reacted wya too slow to win, so well deserved for the attackers.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Does Benoot have Boonen-potential?
Greg Van Avermaet always finishes second, but so does Sagan, so when they race the same race, you always have to remember to apply the GVA-rule which means he wins! |

Interesting race. Especially interesting to see Quickstep fail so hard. Is their reign coming to an end?
