Congrats to SN, Suaza was absolutely insanely good in this race, what an amazing race for Vesuvio, this race probably gets us out of the fight for the overall win as we had as expected an absolute shocker.
That was a very close battle for that third spot! And what a race from Taaramae. Thank you Gustavovskiy, that was a well done and exciting race. I'm happy with Nibali there, as he could have done much worse based on the season he has had.
Not exactly what i have hoped for prior to this race, especially because of poor TTT (and also ITT, but that was more likely because of mountain stage prior to that). But at least i cant complain about lack of breaks now, as Salinas took aprt in two during last stages and brought us nice 5th place finish in last one.
Also Ignatiev coming 2nd in a stage and wearing leaders jersey made up for the disappointment, even when it does not bring many points.
Congrats to Vesuvio for huge race, Crommy for the GC win and thanks Gustavovskiy, Ember and SN for bringing this race to us!
Now to the biggest race in our calendar, i hope Pluchkin has his Vuelta-like legs ready.
Much better than expected this race, had a hope for a stage win when I saw Preidler in the break on the last stage, but he wasn't strong enough. Great result from Brändle here!
What a fantastic result to come back from holiday to, and what a bloody exciting race. Rein showed tremendous spirit and attacking intent to hold off Andy Schleck. I really thought he might lose the lead on that last mountain stage, and with the yellow jersey bonus, anything could have happened on that final stage.
Wonderful also to see our former rider Jaime Suaza overperform so well, I definitely would have liked to have seen him take the podium.
Tim Wellens also coming in the top 10 should hopefully give us a lot of breathing room in the team standings, and if Rein can hold this form in the Tour, then we should be good this season.
And now I'm very positive about what Rein can do in the Tour.
