7th stage is black stain on so far perfect Tour for us. Mohs didn´t beat my former sprinter Holloway and even some noname (sorry Mre) overtake him in point classification due to breakaways. At least both my leaders finished without any time loss, so I can still believe in great overall result.

Borges again... He deserves a victory at this point. Most attacking rider on our team.
I feel gutted as well. Promised you he'd get you a victory, and I'm still confident he'll grab a win for Movipostal

Race to forget. Bobridge and Morton throwing two possible Top-20s away in the mountains - couldn't expect much more from Bobo, but they should at least try to not lose seven minutes there.
Ligthart doing quite well in the TT, where I feel Bobridge should have done better (when looking at the narrow gap to Top-15 here).
Quite two frustrating races right now, but thanks for the reports nevertheless!

Huge TT from Phinney! But also a slightly disappointing one from Spilak, being beaten by Machado. Congratulations, Sykkel_Freak, looks like Venchi's season finally has started to get going.
Admittedly not a race to remember for us, but that was expected when we lined up as well. Promising to see the Norwegians try their luck in breakaways, and Bystrøm ending 5th in the KoM competition is a bonus.
Thanks for the reports and fast pace, Selwink and SN. |

Another 5th place for Gesink. I feel that he's buying me a one way ticket for the PCT.
Great race from Heano though!

Wow, fantastic ride for Phinney here to grab the 4th California title, congrats to Venchi, despite i dont like them gaining so many ranking points.
Nice and fast reporting, thanks SN and Selwink!
Karnulin 17th in GC is decent for our unmaxed stage racing talent.

Yeah a bit strange that Spilak missed out there, did nit expect Phinney to romp the chrono like that considering his Herbiers fail.
festina pulled out all the stops and still Spilak comes up short, this guy should be winning lots but yet he finds a way to fall short.

Not a bad race from my team, had hoped for top 10 from Monsalve, but when Preidler got 18th I wont complain

Well it really was to be expected. i knew that Phinney would take a huge gap here, but losing the race by 5 seconds, and seeing that if Spilak rode the way Machado did he would have won, makes this somewhat of a "fuck this" moment.
Taking a step back from things this was a great race for us. Spilak getting his first stagewin, getting 2nd in GC aswell as 3rd in both sprint and KOM. Lecuisinier surprised by staying in 8th, also getting 2nd in the U25, while Coppel got 2nd on the stage and climbed inside the top 30 aswell as our team winning the teams classification we have to say that this race was a major succes for us. Only 5 seconds away from the perfect race though.

That is one hell of a bad TT. And how did Dombrowski finish behind Kennaugh and Dees on GC? Congrats to Venchi and thanks to Selwin and SN.

Not a great ITT by Trofimov, but 4th in GC is good enough considering the randomness. Thanks for the reports!

Kind of disappointed we were never really part of a break except for Sella once. But overall can't complain having 2 in the top 15, even though top 10 was the goal.
This was our last WT stage race this season, now only a classic is left for us. |

Couple of podium places, 3rd in team rankings and 6th (11th) overall means very successful race for us.
Phinney was again phenomenal in TT, stealing victory from Spilak in last minute. Congratulations to Venchi.
Thanks to Selwink and SN for reporting.

Crazy good TT by Phinney. Never expected this after the Chrono des Herbiers failure and not too convincing win in the Continental Championships. In the end though, it's the TTT that saved us from losing this race. Really nice and surprising stage win that.
Thanks for the congratulations, guys! This is a much sought-after win for us. I really hope this is a turning point, and that the rest of the season will be better that what it has been until now.
Thanks for the reports!

Stage 2: Not very fond of seeing my former rider Kadri winning...
Stage 3: No mention of Orange, but a reasonable showing my Dekker and co,
Stage 4: ... *sigh*
Stage 6: Dekker dropped before the final climb... from a peloton with 39 riders. What is going on? Even Valverde is doing better...
Fights back to 11th, but still, Dekker should be fired for being so horrendously sucky.
Stage 7: Nope, a stage win isn't enough to make me happy.
Stage 8: Go to hell, Dekker. |
