I thought he'd have no chance, but 5 seconds? That sucks. Congrats to Bjarnte and Compal, second is more than I could have hoped for anyway.

7th in the last TT is good from Roe. Giacoppo got a 9th place on a flat sprint which is good to see. Lets hope we improve a bit more!

Classic last stage of stage race event with BOTD taking the win. It was interesting to follow at times even if I don't have my team here and see some names pop up one will have to deal with later on. Thanks for some rapid, detailed reports tsmoha!

Thanks for the reports tsmoha
This wasn't that great of a race, however we did get 3 stage wins, the point jersey and 12th GC position. I now only got Trentino as our next race and racing for real is now on a break.

Thanks for the reporting tsmoha! Another Top 10 on the final stage for Sodexo. It was just in the mountains when we really struggled

Just because I had some time (and Oleg made me fall in love with shame lists), an overview of who posted in this discussion thread - just those managers listed, who brought a team here!
Key facts: Preview + 12 stages - just two managers (huge thanks) reached a 1 comment per stage ratio.. 8 managers with less than two comments.

Oh, so happy right now. Biggest success ever for Compal-Merida and a very nice 4th by Gilanipoor. Extremely satisfied with the team here in ToME and the stage racers prove they have what it takes. Sorry about Signorini losing out so close, but our friends in Indosat will surely get more chances.
Thanks and again sorry tsmoha for not being able to contribute as much as I'd like, due to being in the jungle most of the time. |

Congratulations Bjartne. Happy to see you triumph
Your's is the example that sometimes a step back is needed to give impulse to reach higher cotes.
Thanks tsmoha for the reports, really nice pace and for the same quality as always

Thanks for the reports tsmoha. And this is really a list to shame...I only followed the race from my mobile mainly. So didn`t have a good overview. But this is actually quite terrifying and worse than I had expected.
Come one guys, a bit more discussion next time please. It`s horrible for reporters to get no respond.

CT no good.
Clearly too little activity for such a long event, especially since it's still early in the season and managers should be far more active. At least Benelux Challenge was fairly decent I believe? But certainly not the best impression has ToME left here. Maybe this shame list will motivate some teams to be more active; a) to enjoy the game more b) to honour the work of the reporter and the organization

Thanks for the race coverage tsmoha. Would not have expected Lowe to win this, but then, Signorini 2nd is also a surprise - so much for the flat stat! Cool to see Hirt riding so well too.
And yes, a pretty shocking lack of interest from a number of new managers already. Not good at all.

Shame...Shame...Shame...Shame...Shame...Shame
I don't know how some people can start a story game and expect people to join when they don't even commit to something they have joined themselves.
Great coverage again tsmoha. I never thought Signorini would challenge so for the GC, he could be a real danger for many GCs the rest of the season after that. Compal are looking ominous there, I'm feeling there is a massive divide between the top and bottom teams in the division already! |

It's indeed quite disturbing to see such a small activity. I'll admit I haven't posted much myself either (although not being present here and Benelux does not help), but to see such a large race being covered by 1 or less coments is not a good prelude, and if this continues I foresee quite a large hammer.

Was a little disappointed in the number of active members and especially for such a long race. Sure hope that Langkawi will be surrounded by more active members

Very intense race till the end with nice written reports. It was quite pleasant to watch this time without having a rider in contention after last year's close win.
When I signed Lowe last season this was the race I would have hoped to see him shine. Due to a little miscalculation on my side, that didn't happen. So congrats Bjartne for the wise decision to sign him. |

Congrats to Compal - they've come a long way from being D2's plucky underdogs. Also impressed with Sonnery, always thought this race would suit him quite well and he has the stats to be a great CT rider.
Thanks for the reports tsmoha, fantastic job. Been reading but not commenting so I can't take any moral high ground, but still disappointing to see such inactivity from new managers. |

Nor did I! I had Nieve down as leader here as I (well, everyone) thought Signorini would be useless aside from mountain top finishes. Next race is Azerbaijan and then Java. A long time between drinks as I had to plan his race days very carefully.

Sorry for not being as active as I would have liked in this thread TSmoha, but as I posted after the first stage I have been on holiday without internet access.

It's so good to see this race get underway, we've always enjoyed this one which is why I'm the only PCT team here. It's a shame I'm going to have to play catchup once I get back from holiday instead of being able to follow it as it's posted.
I only got back last night so haven't had the time to catchup on the reports until today.
Anyway it was a great race to read and was very well reported. I'm surprised that Suryadi got 14th on GC and that he was able to hang on so long in the mountains. I expected him to drop down the GC a lot earlier and for Jiriakov to be our leader and get to around 12th.
It was good to see the team active in the breaks and although we couldn't take a stage win it was nice to see the youngsters trying.
It's a shame that we had 3 guys drop out of the race during the mountains, although it seemed to allow us to get into breaks more often afterwards which seems a little weird.
In terms of the GC fight I'm surprised that Novak didn't do better and I thought Lowe could win it but didn't think he'd be the team leader at Compal.
