Gotta love Astana. They've somehow managed to beat Sky level. Do they actually think this will be okay? Unlike Sky they've had quite a lot of cases and suspicion from the general public. it's only a matter of time before it all cracks.
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy

What happened to Chaves? Didn't see anything of him towards the end, didn't seem to make that 10-15 rider selection.

Astana are pelotons kings of ultrapeaks. Do shit nothing all year just to be best form imaginable in the world when a Grand Tour comes around.

1 case.
Might be the right time for a Astana hate/doping thread

Both Iglinskiy brothers, Kreuziger & two conti team cases (which do count even if Vino doesn't like it)

Astana to go mental on tomorrow's stage? Profile could certainly make for an epic day of racing.

Yeah I forgot the Kreuziger part.
But the Conti team is a different team with different sporting directors and different doctors. Not the same. |

I dno. Only thing thats suspicious to me is Cataldo, he shouldnt be able to do that, but its not like Astana are dominating the season, more or less only GTs. I would be surprised if he doesnt crack somewhat on Mortirolo or Finestre.
Intxausti playing the game like a boss, I would feel so dumb if I was Reichenback though and probably have cursed him to Pakistan, but a win is a win!
I dont know what Astana is doing though, why not just catch the break when you clearly have 2 of the 4 best on uphill finishes today. Begin a little before with Zeits and LLS and they have AT LEAST one stage win. |

Helps that Astana have riders who could actually climb before unlike SKY who transformed Wiggins, Froome and Porte into climbers from nothing. |

Was just thinking this... will be a good stage even without a full-on mutant train at the head of the pack! Potential for chaos.
Worth noting that Aru would have taken pink if Landa hadn't attacked

OR, if they just used 2 domestiques in order to catch the break.
Edit: Also fun how this is the 'hardest' uphill finish in the Giro and no time gaps were made between the favourites. That doesnt bode terribly well imo, but seemed like there was a headwind out there. Hoping Astana doesnt pussy out and make the race exciting, from long way out, otherwise this will be kinda boring since the last climbs aren't hard enough to make significant gaps.
