ST. 3 | TUXTLA GUTIÉRREZ - SAN CRISTOBAL DE LAS CASAS | 71 KM
The mountainous profile inspires some strong riders to attack together: Barta, Baliani, López García, Madrazo, Teuns and Hoogerland.
This group commenced the Torre Navenchauc, the 30km-long HC climb.
30 KM to go, De Clercq, Battaglin and Pirazzi undertake a counter-attack.
Immediately, some others, including José, follow.
Suddenly, the peloton just stops chasing. The winner is one of these 13!
José tries to go solo, but his move is not a decisive one.
All riders survive the cobbles and the short uphill section before the penultimate descent. It's Gesink who tries a last-minute attack to avoid a sprint...
But Battaglin surpasses everyone with ease. José pays for his attack on the road and can only keep one rider behind him, finishing 12th.

We’re still in the running for a top 10 spot in the final GC. The concluding TT will decide everything.
We're also excited to see that Maxim's can not be taken away anymore!

STAGE 4 | SAN CRISTOBAL DE LAS CASAS - COMITAN DE DOMÍNGUEZ| 87 KM
Even with nothing to some points to earn on the road, five riders don't hesitate to attack. They are Fédrigo, Chainel, G. Malacarne, Teklehaimanot and Reda.
French veteran Fédrigo takes the green points, without any opposition.
The bunch starts the chase, but the winner is definitely in this group.
It's Chainel who keeps Reda off for the win. Lloyd comes in 10th, just in front of race leader Battaglin. Tomorrow's TT will decide the final GC.

STAGE 5 | CHIAPA DE CORZO – TUXTLA GUTIERREZ (ITT) | 15 KM
We’re not really expecting a good finish today, not with all the specialists in this race.
It's Pavel Brutt who puts on record the first strong time.
Our hope for today, Portuguese youngster André Filipe Belmonte, disappoints and loses over one and a half minute.
Shortly after that, Irizar kicks Brutt out of the hotseat.
But the big favourites are yet to come. Nibali is the first finishing faster than the Basque.
The dual champion of the Giro d'Italia keeps Phinney behind him, but Australia's TT champion Dennis doesn't suffer the same fate,...
...but today's clash of the Titans is the battle between TT stars Cancellara...
... and Wiggins. The Brit shows to be the strongest in this early phase of the season.
But the big gap made during stage 3 doesn't allow them to still dream of a GC win.
José rolls of the ramp! What a failure his start is...
Halfway, he's even slower than guys like Pirazzi, Madrazo and Baliani. Can he turn things around?
Race and -25 leader Battaglin is no TT specialist at all and he loses his yellow jersey to a strong Jan Barta, who is only 22" slower than Wiggo.
And what about José? He covers the second half of the race in a much higher pace, but where does this bring him in the GC?

We'll be up against a, with all due respect, much weaker competition here. The time trial is too long to keep our main man Marco close to the winner, so we'll definitely aim for a stage win here.
André Filipe is also motivated to arise after his disappointing result in last race's TT.

STAGE 1 | BUCKEYE ITT | 22 KM
Nobody of RTP Internacional will be close to the win today. It's American champion Tom Zirbel who starts as 7th and he already sets a sharp time.
Former Movistar rider Eloy Teruel is the first to finish even faster.
The difference between Zirbel and the Spaniard is 25".
Stefan Schumacher comes close, but loses 9". And Alex Rasmussen doesn't take a last-minute victory this time either.
André Filipe does great on the road, finishes in 9th place and earns himself the white jersey!
