Believe me, I understand perfectly that people will be all giddy and going overboard with the excitement of getting rid of McQuaid
The preceding post is ISSO 9001 certified

I am grateful to Swiss Cycling for their n
omination, as well as to the Board of Cycling
Ireland for their endorsement of my nomination whic
h was only withdrawn for a procedural
technicality.
I love that bit, if it was just a "procedural technicality" then why not wait for the next meeting to be nominated again. He just keeps talking this rubbish and thinks we all will go along for the ride.
I agree with what isso says about Cookson, good to see someone else putting there hand up but I reserve my judgement until I see some substance from him

Wow. That letter is... totally epic. I don't i can begin to describe how freaking messed up that is.
That said, I'm still not entire sure Cookson is gonna be all that different. His been involved with the UCI for ever. Seems to be unlikely its going to be in his interests for things to be fully revealed.
His ignoring of the obvious is brilliant though. Its like Chemical Ali from the Iraq war. |

God, I hope that letter goes viral in the cycling community so bad. The only way to get this cancer of a McQuaid out is everyone makes a huge deal about this. |

I'm pretty sure that all three are, but we should probably stop the discussion before it gets out of hand.

Visconti : known Ferrari patient

Actually, he stayed with Panaria for so long because he was almost a "part-time" rider. They gave him some leverage so he could finish his studies (he finished writing his thesis- "Southern politics from the unity of Italy up to now"- last year) and only became a full time cycling pro this year. Hence the move to AG2R.

He wasn't full time last year with Colnago?

And moving to AG2R, well, he could have chosen another team if he wanted to prove he's clean (though I don't believe they're all doped there, they're probably more tolerant than in some other teams). |
