Good to hear. If you'd like to join it might be nice to follow this as well, to get to know the game well
We'll need 24 players so let's hope we'll find 24 enthusiastic enough! |

Hi, can i ask what exactly the mole has to do? He has to sabotage the team or what? About the tatics: how must it be? I've to say if i want to attack, when etc. or what?
Sorry if this question are stupid... |

Sorry if this question are stupid...
Those questions aren't stupid at all. The team has several objectives (post 3) to complete, for example, win a team classification, win a specific race... The Mole has to sabotage these objectives. Every objective has several points attached to it. If the team fails the objective, the mole gets the points. If the objective is a success, everyone else gets a point.
There is also a voting every race. The mole gets points if no one suspects him of being the mole. Others can earn points by rightly guessing the mole. That's it in short.
Send-in tactics depend from stage to stage. Mostly I send an answer with more questions if it isn't clear yet. For example: you send: attack on mountains.
I send back: follow favorite attacks, too? Attack on the first or second mountain?
You say: only follow GC threat's attacks, don't attack until the final 5km.
If another situation arises during the race (a GC threat got away early in the race for some reason), I will try to act accordingly to your tactic. You can be real detailed, and give me options for several situations, or give me a general tactic.
The Mole's tactics vary greatly. Fake a flat, Fast-Edit stats, lead-out the sprinter way too late, don't get water bottles, faking injury...
But the rules will be explained to everyone when I start up the game much clearer than this! Hope these answers suffice for now, feel free to ask any questions!

If I find 24 members that want to play this game, I'll be a very happy man and I'd be more than happy to make this a game very enjoyable, I don't need to play myself if everyone is having a good time, but thanks for thinking about me |

Very happy to see this many interested
Baseballlover312: Glad you like that idea. I always thought The Mole was a great tv series so I tried adapting it to PCM, changing some rules and making my own points system. I'm glad it's working out (so far)!
Team The Mole: Well, today I overslept, having some major sleeping-problems lately. I have to postpone the next stage a bit. I'll get working on my school right now and hopefully have a good, concentrated day so I can still race the next stage later this afternoon! Thank you for your patience. And thanks for sending in all tactics so fast. I can tell you this will be a very interesting race, despite the flat-ish profile!!

Before posting the report of stage 2, first this:
After a stage and before voting, it's allowed to ask direct questions to other members. If someone screwed up: you can ask what happened before voting. That gives the members a chance to explain their actions and the mole a chance to lie his way out of his sabotage!
So if you gave me an order and it turned sour, feel free to defend yourself here! Report coming up in a while, it'll take some time to write (20 screenshots) |

Stage 2: The Race
The profile of the day seems fairly flat, but the slopes are steep and demanding. Let's see how the team did today.
The Goat, Ypritsky, opened the attacks with a fast start. He's clearly looking for a way to give the team an easy day in the pack.
The first reaction came only seconds later, by no one else than our own Wild One, Sutton.
However, the two were unable to create a gap big enough and the peloton caught up with them soon enough. The didn't have the energy to attack again.
Meanwhile, The Giant, Hoyle, spend his time getting water for the team, here we see him giving water to the Smurf. What a difference in height.
The slopes were tough and steep, while there was no one to help The Raging Bull, the main sprinter Veenhof. He was mostly on his own today.
The Wild One still had plans in mind and as soon as he got some energy back, he went looking for other attackers.
Finally some success as he joined the Breakaway of the Day. Their maximum gap: 5 minutes.
But Sutton had wasted too much energy and can't take any points for the Mountain Jersey. The Wild One looked tame.
Between the two mountain sprints, he decided the only way to fly was to fly alone. He opted for a surprise attack.
Meanwhile back in the peloton: Gömböcz, the Hungry Hunyak, wasn't so hungry today. He had good legs but wasn't prepared to make an effort today. He got water bottles and sat back in the peloton. His job is not on the flat.
And to everyone's surprise the first rider to be picked up was The Wild One. His solo attack didn't last too long and he barely managed to keep up with the peloton for the rest of the race. He had given 110%.
And for Team The Mole it's surprise after surprise, as Big Chief Thompson, the GC leader, provides the team with a lead-out train. He must be feeling good, to do this kind of work for the sprinters! Fast Joe Smith took over from him.
Then only three remained, The Giant, The Smurf and The Raging Bull, a combination bound for success.
Ventoso surprised the lead-out train with an early sprint, and Ferreira, the Smurf, tried to take Ventoso's wheel instead of hanging on the lead-out. Boeckmans got in his way and The Smurf missed Ventoso's wheel. Here we see him desperately trying to pass Boeckmans, sprinting.
The Raging Bull was confused and chose to follow the stream, as he had lost Ferreira's wheel in the chaos. He started his sprint.
But Ventoso had managed to overtake everyone with his early, surprise sprint. He wins the first sprinter's stage with quite a margin.
Veenhof, The Raging Bull, finishes 4th, taking some points for the green jersey.
All in all, it was a tough day for the team. Constant attacking made for a fast paced day. The lead-out went well until Ventoso caused confusion. There will be some people looking for an explanation after today...

Why were you so offensive Sutton? Tactically you made some wrong decisions. The Goat had already attacked at the start, but you went to join him? There was no need to have 2 guys in the break... and when you went again, you were too tired to do anything.
Also where was the protection for Raging Bull on the climbs? I was busy getting bottles, but no one was protecting him!
