Downhill finishes ftw Cool But take care with some of the cities in the mountains, for example the one in the last screen doesn't look very realistic with those huge walls Pfft

That's a brilliant queen stage, but I have one concern. With so many HC climbs in one day, KOM could be won by a rider just by winning each climb on that stage and doing nothing for the rest of the Tour.

I uploaded several Vuelta 2003 Stages. But please take notice, you have to download the podium pack to play these stages. If I remember correctly you need them also for some of my dauphine and tirreno stages.

Hey bigggassi, first of all, great stages. I enjoyed destroying Armstrong with Pantani in Morzine. It was great fun. Question, do you still have your Tour variant for PCM 11? If so, can you upload it or send it to me as I would like to play it.

Keep up the good work, robinvanperzik

Tour de France Variant

So here's another Variant for the TDF in PCM12. I made this Fantasy-Tour actually for PCM11 a while ago, but converted it now to PCM12 and made a lot of improvements to the stages. Anyway, don't expect always one-to-one mountain-slopes, sometimes it was more important to me to get ridable constant slopes instead of trying to make the exactly profiles like in real life. Still I think this Variant is very playable and for you guys an opportunity of variety. So, I hope you will give it a shot and having fun while playing this Tour.

Info:
- 21 Stages, 3351 Kilometers, 140 Kilometers of Timetrialing
- 12 Flat-Stages, 1 Hilly Stage, 4 Mountain-Stages, 4 Timetrials (3 ITT, 1 TTT)
- 42 Climbs, 6x HC, 7x Cat1, 5x Cat2, 10x Cat3, 14x Cat4

The traditionally Prolog (7km) on the opening stage comes back to Paris since the Year 2003.

I have a question:

If another stagemaker upload a podium pack because his variants need it, your podium pack will overwrite them? and his variants and your variants will be work without problems?

Thanks.

bigggassi
Yeah, I think I still have that one for Pcm11 somewhere, but I wouldn't recommend you to play it.

The reason is the simply that it was my very first variant, so there were soo many bad slopes and amateurish mistakes that it hadn't made fun to play it. This is why I never published them for pcm11. For the Pcm12-version I didn't just converted them, I made rather many many improvements so its playable even the stages are still far away from perfect.

I don't think there should be any problem. As long as the needed graphic folders are there it should work. But if you want to be on the safe side, you can edit the stages and change the podium to the default one or ask me to do it if it doesn't work anymore.
