But that's it for me. The management portion of the game is so limited that its more just a cycling simulator. So I sometimes feel silly trying to take a low budget continental team to the top when there is nothing to the management aspect. Might as well just start as one of the top teams.
But I will say the same thing I've said in other forums... if I'm posting it means i am playing the game. Just think the game has much more potential and honestly Cyanide are wasting it, imo.
Well, with this part I'll agree fully Specially the last sentence.

Ah, less of problem then. Some of the stats are quite crap in the official release, and this is one of them: recovery. Wiggins has 77, Feillu has 64, and that really makes a difference. And taking a look at the best sprinters: except for Petacchi, with 76, nearly all top sprinters have either high 60's or very low 70's in REC, when not low 60's. They're supposed to survive and make over the mountains in the GTs, and still be able to sprint, but with these stats they'll hardly do that.

I understand now .
One more question , how can i realease a rider who has a contract for more than 2 years ? I mean in editor , because i modified the team and set 119 and on contract 0 but it still say that i have more than 30 riders next season but i am in december so all the riders has arrived . In the game the rider has disaperead from my team but is still counted somewhere . |

Am I the only one who gets on a breakaway in a mountain stage from TdF, peloton does nothing (I wasn't doing anything with Sky but still Geraint Thomas was on the top of it, so imagine its speed) and time gap reaches 10 minutes... but in just less than a minute the breakaway gets caught? WTF. Time gap bug?
And overall mountain stages are unplayable for me (I come from PCM10 when OK, sprints sucked, but mountain gameplay was really nice). I hope next patches fix this but it does not seem likely.
A mistake not buying PCM11 last year but doing it this one. |

Say wuut?
It was impossible to attack in the mountains (for both human and AI) in PCM10 and riders seemed to drop much less often. There were sprints in nearly every mountain top, and gaps would only appear in the last km when the riders were sprinting (yeah, there was sometimes one or two successful attacks, but that was it, then a big group came sprinting behind).

If in PCM10 was impossible to attack in the mountains I don't know the word to describe those in PCM12
I mainly did play with some friends online in PCM10 and I prefer that gameplay 100 times. And attacks were fine to me, maybe as I used to do a massacre to the peloton with my teammates first. And well, you may be right as I hadn't played to other versions before (last was 4 and very briefly), but what you are telling me is exactly what I am getting in PCM12 and I was just making a comparison between those 2 gameplays. Peloton beasting in PCM12 and gaps only in the last km or so. In PCM10 just a small group in the last mountain (if you do some work) and attacks there.
Maybe I just play weird and get strange things, who knows.

Playing the Tour de France with a custom Continental Pro team, my sprinter was leading the points race confortably. In the second mountain finish stage, I kept my sprinter and other non-climb specialistas close to the front of the climbers peloton as far as possible (up to the 2nd HC mountain). After dropping, they dropped *really* hard.
The result: Over half of the team (5 guys, including the sprinter) withdrawing due to arriving over 40 minutes after the leaders. ¬¬ |

Check out what they are spending cash on, instead of fixing the game first.

Btw, is it just me not paying much attention or you can't choose stages that will be part of the race when playing stage races in single race mode? (like selecting only mountain stages from TdF)

Even by Cya's own standards, they are taking their good time with Patch 1.3.5.0.
I presume it's going to be perfect and fix everything.

Those solid riders are a major source of frustration indeed. Mostly on wide roads when the pace is low, because the riders will form a serious roadblock, so I can't get into the position to go for a breakaway. But sometimes on smaller roads too, like the GP Quebec, where it took Martens (Rabobank), a solid hill rider, over 60 km to get some water to the front of the peloton. Of course, that was way too late, so I had to make my team leaders attack to break away from the peloton in order to get drinks without trouble.
Another annoying thing: in the final circuit of the Tour of Flanders, the favourites and those who dropped ages ago are riding through each other, so it becomes a terrible mess and you constantly have to pause the game to get some info on the whereabouts of your rivals. |

That thing about Tour of Flanders is very true. It's so hectic and chaotic near the end!
However, the solid rider model is nice in my opinion. It's much more realistic. It sometimes blocks you, but that happens in real life too, so I like it |

I am so angry Cyanide!!!Two fucking months and we are still waiting! And as i know the company, thagame will be even more bugged after the patch than it is now.
With this tempo, i will never start my story, or i will when most of my free time will be gone. Shame on you bastards!

i´ll echo those sentiments, they are working really really slow this time.
I never visit the official forum, as its predominently french and i dont speak or understand it. Have they even sent out any info regarding hte next patch or have there been rumours circulating regarding it, the fixes and a release date.? |

Its august, most of France goes on holiday for the month
Cyanide are probably on holiday until the end of the month, so there wont be any information till 1st September, at earliest
This next patch doesnt seem like it will fix too much, mostly armada related stuff no-one gives a shit about
The game with patch 1.3.0.0 works very well
