that happens in rl too. Did you see Ferrari's "tackle" on cav in giro? A rider (think it was farnese vini, but don't remember very good. So maybe wrong team) went over cavs leg and continued without falling...

He jumped over Cav, doesn't really apply to the PCM situations
Honestly I don't think it's such an issue that riders ride over the others on the ground (after all it seems that the "solid" part of the model is in the bike), what I find really annoying is that when there's a small crash in the front of the peloton, there's a considerable chance that it turns into a huge crash, mainly injuring several riders but also making them lose more time than they should (by falling and then coming up to get back instead of stopping and going round the fallen riders). In real life, some riders fall, the ones who come behind stop, but this doesn't happen in the game and apparently won't happen in PCM 12 either looking in that screen (you can also see several riders who quit because of injuries in the screen.. which is also quite weird, when the rider injuries to the point of abandoning, the fall animation isn't displayed, he goes directly to the 'start' position).
