Sjaladideedo bangbang, I think everybody needs to chill...
1. It's up to SN to decide what he will do with managers who don't pay attention to rules/announcements, this counts for every aspect of the Man-Game throughout the whole season.
2. If SN (and his loyal helpers) wants to hear our judgement for a particular decision (like what to do with the latest situation), then he will probably ask us or make a new thread for it.
3. Also I find it very frustration to have to read through a lot of comments about punishment-ideas and other stuff, this is the Rules and Announcements board, discussions can be held on other locations in the Man-Game forum. Let's keep it clean
Boogie, i set "as for myself". I don't talk in behalf of anyone else.
@rjc, they are not excuses. You're free to think whatever you want, but my conscious is clean about the free time i had and the time that took me to give SN my goals. And i did give the goals on time. You're are like the 3rd or 4th guy that tells me i didn't put them in time, when i did, so i don't know why the hell you're are saying that 45 managers give a shit about the game.
And other think, why the hell i have to leave beagle alone? That really only concerns me and him, mind your own business. When we violate any rules of this forum, you're on your right to go at me, until then, please don't.
@beagle, nothing against you at all. Just, when you posted that, i had already gave my goals for a couple of hours.
I think that it's very suited for managers to come clean on how they would like the Man-Game to run. I know that it is in the hands of SN ultimately, but he is very good at listening to the users, which is also needed for the game to be as good as it is. So this is an obvious situation where managers make their inputs on what to do, if people don't do what they are told.
btw, if the new guy is being replaced, may I suggest letting jph27 or Bjartne take over. They have (as I've seen) be the only rejected guys that I've seen posting after the rejection.
Lets get this back to talking about the goals then:
- I found the target races quite a nice add-on, it will likely give more races an exciting edge, I always found this when reporting races like the Ringerike GP last year that it helped having so many teams with goals in.
- As ever the win goal I found a tricky one to select, unless you are prepared to really break the bank it is difficult to know where you will 'win'. I must admit I went tactical here going for the lengthy Tour of Southland as my win goal, that combined with the lofty win Asian Tour goal.
I agree with the target races thing Smowz, and I miss Ringerike GP :-p Even though my team sucked in it.
For win Goal I decided to go for something I could use Schädlich in, it was between Isle of Man and Duo Normand. So now I just need someone around the same level to secure that one. And hopefully have 2 guys that can do well in Isle of Man aswell
Agree to alexkr00. Even in my first season here it took me not even 10min after seeing the goals thread and SN had his PM.
Of course some can last longer but over a whole weak there is always lots of time to get it done normally.
As many already posted before, I can totally understand people like Doddy, who is doing his exams at the moment. There you are happy if you don`t have to do anything else but the most important thing - no, not the game
But it`s just a pity if all managers have to wait and SN takes his time and now nobody can do anything before 100% is sent.
Decided on 3/5 goals beforehand, 2 when profiles came out. The win goals is making a choice; a race were you might make it but is more points or a race which you have an outside shot of making it with less points. Thinking of next year, i went for the normal PT classic rather then a monument.
It took me about an hour to decide on goals since I don't have any riders to base it on and searching through the Race Profile forum to find the best fit for my unknown squad. But that didn't take long considering I spend another three hours making the video to go along with it. But it was well worth it because I loved how the video turn out.
