Rui Pedro Vinhas, Bruno Santos, Vitor Rodrigues, Jose Mendes and Samuel Caldeira so many interesting names that we really have to talk at the right time

Seeing those goals, I suspect Tiago Machado is already on his way home to Portugal. |

And the free cap space supports that suggestion.

In your dreams...
Happy to see the wages of Plaza and Ventoso. We will be in talks very soon.

Yeah my goals scream Tiago Machado, it's undeniable. Without any real serious leader for a PT race I feel I need to go big or go home this transfer season, and Machado is just the natural answer for my team (sorry fintas )
Looking forward for your PMs Mre and fintas. I hope this goes well for all of us

Everything can be solved with common sense
And for sure it will be possible to reache a general agreement or several agreements for more than a rider from your team

Marc Machado os very interesting for us, and seeing he is on the undecided list, I might just make a move for him this window.

At last, victory!
It's been a while since we last intervened in our HQ, but unfortunately for us it hasn't been much to report. It's been a tough season in the top step of the MG ladder, and we haven't yet been able to justify the call we got last year to fill in the gap for the last spot in the PT.
However, Vuelta a España has started, a race which may prove to be crucial in our fight against relegation. Our absolute leader Tiago Machado is here, carrying our hopes of an unprecedented podium in a GT. However our first glimpse of success came from our sprinter Óscar Avelino. After 4 dominating victories from the all-mighty train of Pokerstars our underdog was able to slip into Festina's slipstream and snatch one of the most needed triumphs for Prio-Porto. Thank you Óscar. Now Tiago, it's up to you!

Well done on your win. You waited long, but you finally got it. And with Machado not looking bad hopefully the wins don't end there for you

Thanks mate, a late surge in the season isn't completely impossible, so a good result may possibly award me the chance of not swapping places with you

Fortunately for us, the 2014 season is over. A year of failure, a year of bad luck, a year to forget. Everyone questioned our ability to make ourselves competitive within the top teams of this game, but despite our best efforts we couldn't prove them wrong.
Tiago Machado, our absolute leader, still managed to achieve some notable results, like 2nd in Vuelta a Colombia and 4th in La Vuelta, but in the end, he never managed to take big victory we all expected and needed from him.
Rui Costa didn't live up to bar set for him. 8th place in Volta a Catalunya as his best result, and only two top10s throughout the whole season shows how weak he has been, even taking into acount the powerful puncheurs who populate the ProTour.
All in all a disgraceful season, where we barely avoided the last place in the rankings.
But all could be forgotten if we actually managed to get a long-time goal of ours: the portuguese NC. Let's have a look at our history with this race shall we?
2010
TEAM ENERGIE-DIESEL
5 riders vs 16 opponents
The first time we competed in the NCs, we actually managed to throw one of our boys to the 2-man escapade which would eventually decide the victory. It goes without saying that our youngster Paulo Lucas Martins was not able to fend off the all-mighty Free Agent Marcio Portela, who would join our ranks in two years time.
Result: 2nd place
2011
ENERGIE-DIESEL
24 riders vs 10 opponents
With promoting to ProTour, our portuguese contingent was reduced a little bit more and we faced the national event with only 5 riders. We were still one of the strongest teams and took on the job of chasing almost every breakaway attempt. But there was one we couldn't bring back: Hugo Sabido, from our rivals at the time, Bimbo-Nutella, took the title as our escapee Bruno Pires, managed to get the silve medal. No jersey for that one though...
Result: 2nd place
2012
CERNE
24 riders vs 10 opponents
Having relegated from ProTour and afetr starting a whole new project with Cerne, we decided to become 'more portuguese' and went for a full throttle aproach to the NC race. This time we had more than the double amount of riders of our competitors, so it would be quite ridiculous to miss the title right? But again we figured out a way of spoofing things and letting Sergio Sousa from Trilux to outsmart us, while we took the 2nd place for a third year in a row!
Result: 2nd place
2013
PRIO-PORTO
17 riders vs 18 opponents
By this time we got quite used to facing insuccess in our home NC, but were still dreaming of that beatiful jersey. This were looking great as we placed two riders in the trio which composed the breakaway of the day, and which would eventually fight for the win. Odds count for nothing in NCs though, as we saw Amaro Antunes, from our neighbours then-called Adira Isq Project, ridicule Bruno Santos and Ricardo Ferreira in the final sprint
Result: 2nd place
2014
PRIO-PORTO
16 riders vs 25 opponents
All of this takes us to this year's event. After our calamitous season, achieving the NC title would certainly help with our motivation for next year. The competition was greater this year, but still we had the best riders and the most numerous squad. The breakaway was porrly controled this time and by the time our leaders got out of their saddles it was a tad late. Joni Brandão, renewed the title for Karcher-Adira, while Machado got us an unbelievable 2nd place for a 5th year in a row!! It's needless to say how eager we are for 2015's race.
Result: 2nd place

Really bad luck in the nationals... Pulidor style for 5 years now
I'm sure next season will go better, your year in PT will be the best to bounce back stronger ever.
Best luck in next year nationals (and little less during the season when we meet)
