Gesink is way out of it, massive chase from Nibali, if the 7secs gap is correct, they will catch them. |

11 seconds with 1km left, would be really nice if Amador could grab this one

It should be bad , but he is not the only one to stay in great shape after 2 years ban. |

Poor escapees, was hoping for them to do it.
Anyway great sprint, amazing acceleration by Gilbert. Nice to see some tries and the end, such as Muravyev and Nibali, better than almost the whole P-N

Think it was Wouter Poels, and was it Beppu the guy from Shack that attacked inside the last kilometer?

very strong Gilbert and poor Amador & Malacarne. Gesink lost contact with Cunego & co and was completely isolated so almost impossible to return.

Not sure about the TT abilities of Nibali maybe if Evans has a bad day. Gilbert should be able to do a decent TT

Stupid Gilbert. You win loads of races every year. Why couldn't you let Poels win.
Oh well. Congrats to Phil.
Dissapointing stage for me. Gesink loses the lead and Poels just got 2nd. |
