The newest team in the Continental Tour is brought to you by the second most premier airline in Tunisia, Karthago. Now with as many cycling teams as operating aircraft, Karthago is looking forward to meeting the logistical travel needs of a premier cycling outfit. The team has already enlisted former Netia - Vónin manager trekbmc after a 7 year hiatus, who when pressed for comment, would only talk about his plans to kidnap Torkil Veyhe from his current team. We look forward to our inaugural season!

So glad to have you back trek! Welcome back and glad we're not going to have a rivalry like Netia and Kulczyk fighting over the Polish riders anymore. 
Also love the theme...you can do some interesting things with the Karthago 'elephants' charging through the peloton.

As the team which has the first most premier airline in Tunisia on its pants, I'm glad to have another manager invested into furthering the development of (North) African cycling I'm sure we'll have plenty opportunities to talk, happy to have you in the game again!

@ivaneurope - That's the plan, we'll have to see how much I can achieve that in transfers though haha.
@bbl - I was shocked when I worked it out, so much of the MG has stayed the same though, it's weird haha
@croatia, kandesbunzler, booker - I love the Hannibal ideas, I'm going to have to make use of that, that's a good point about the Alpes though, our elephants may end up suffering if we ever reach the tour de france
@ember - Wanted to leave it open so I can form my identity during transfers a little, still no idea how it'll end up but I'm excited haha
@Laurens - You have no idea how much I wouldn't shut up about Veyhe back when I first got him, hope he's done well for you
@cunego - That's awesome, didn't know you had them as a sponsor. Hope we can cooperate a bit to bring North Africa to the top, not a ton of riders in the db as is haha.

Headlining our team is the 2023 Giro d'italia winner Chen Shikai, who we hope will use his elite experience to help us achieve our goals in mountainous stage racers. Likewise veteran Krists Neilands will use his wealth of experience as a long standing member of PT Champions Evonik-ELKO as he leads us in cobbled classics. For the hills, we have recruited Natnael Tesfatsion from Bralirwa. Finally we're proud to have the current Moroccan national champion Houcaine El Sabbahi repping our colours in the sprint stages. We hope to be able to challenge for PCT promotion with this squad.
We've also signed a few promising young riders, who we haven't determined an exact training plan for, but we are able to provide a sample projection of their future talent:

I like Tesfastsion and El Sabbahi a lot at this level. Great riders. Shikai might get some help from his TT, while Neilands is a very good cobler. Solid support in general aswell
Very nicely built CT squad. I think (without having seen all CT squads) that you should be battling at the top!

Vainio is a great pickup in the draft. Was my preferred rider and top dev pick choice, and obviously a stagiare for me a couple of years ago. Hope he gets lots of race days and finally is able to move along dev wise!

@heine - Thanks! I think it'll be interesting how each of my leaders perform, each has some flaws that could keep them from being too elite, so being able to fight for promotion might depend on if they can all deliver. Was thinking later on in transfers that not pursuing a Galta deal was a mistake when he definitely outclasses Shikai
@Dane Bramage - Thanks! Looking forward to competing with you.
@bbl - Yeah he's an interesting rider, glad someone else appreciates his skillset haha, although can see why you didn't keep him on. I'm always a little too enthusiastic about these guys with huge energy stats though so was hard for me to pass him up.
