Spilak was supposed to ride for Generali in 2019 already until a deal fell through, but has made his way to our team 1 year late thanks to an extremely complicated deal that involved 4 teams. He'll replace Gesink as our stage race leader, and will have the not-so-easy task of winning Generali's first grand tour.

A rider type we perhaps have too many of, Rohan Dennis was signed in order to be our co-leader in hilly stage races for time trialists, so that we can put yet one more rider in the top 10s of those races.

Spilak's main lieutenant for this year will be experienced, reliable stage racer Andrew Talansky. The American will also have the chance to lead a few races by himself.

Bouchard will ride his first ever season as a professional for Generali. He's a solid climber that will certainly progress over the course of the season.
